unfortunatly bf3 has been partly designed with cod players moving to it in mind, infantry has been made king and vehicles have taken the sidelines unfortunatly

@Imetysaw well considering i have played every battlefield in the series as well as a couple of the cod series, battlefield 3 sees the increase of the power of the infantryman, this is because they are trying to drag in the call of duty audience whom are unable to effectivly use the vehicles. also if you pay attention to some of the map designs such as metro or the bazaar they are designed mostly for infantry combat these were few and far between in bf2 and 1942 etc

@19HR94 What are you smoking? Just because console graphics are worse than console, doesn't make it shitty. It's still MASSIVELY better than MW2, which is basically exactly the same as MW3 graphics. Just look at Bad Company 2 vs MW3. BF3 on console only improves significantly from BC2, but MW3 barely changes from mw2.

@jamie007pwnz MW2 has the best flow and fps of any console shooter. Battlefield has one of the the worst fps and flows like a blocked river. (lol analogy) But yeah. PC negates that issue and you don't understand how AMAZING BF is on PC in comparison. And of course MW3 looks like MW2. What do you expect? The Xbox can't deal with any higher graphics at the cod 60 fps benchmark. That's battlefields downfall.

@19HR94 I agree that any game in 60 FPS beats 30 FPS by miles. But the thing is, even a game like Tetris or Minesweeper could have 60 FPS. That doesn't make it have good graphics. All the other factors in BF, such as detail, explosions, color, etc, all (I think) make BF series outclass CoD series a lot.

And about the MW3 graphics, Infinity ward COULD have improved it. Why do you think it's already been done? In like Crysis 2 and such? They're just lazy when releasing games every other year :/

@jamie007pwnz In fps 60 fps is key for movement and fluidity. Which is what battlefield lacks. Fps determines how smooth movement is. That's why preferable cod4 fps is 125 or 250. But i agree that BF has integrated a lot of really nice features. It's all down to preference at the end of the day. I think a game in the middle of mw3 and bf3 is whats needed on console. Like a realistic AND fast paced shooter. Which isn't clunky and looks good.

@19HR94 You know that you cant subliminal catch up to more than 120 FPS, and your direct vision cant see more than 18-60 FPS with an average of 30 FPS? Depends on genetics, and sex. (Girls can "capture" higher FPS-rate than boys). So Cod4 fps 125 or 250 is BS. Youre brain wouldnt even recognize half of the frames you are presented.

@carp3diem Please read previous comments before you make such an invalid point. It's not what you see. It's how if affects the mechanics of the game. 125 makes you jump further. 250 make you jump further whilst dropping. The only visual difference if the affect the fps change has on your movement and physics. Obviously your not going to see all 250 frames...
