  • Call him "Two Cheese Burgers Wetton."

  • I love Carl Palmer, especially with ELP. I always thought that Asia was a huge waste of his amazing talent. The thing that baffles me is that I saw Palmer perform this same same solo in 1973, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1989... you get the idea. He's done it 17,000 times. You'd think that someone of his talent would come up with a more inventive solo.

  • Some people try and compare neil to Carl. I see wasted time there. Neil has a much better aproach to his playing and solos. Young peart was still far better than young Palmer. Go and listen to Caress of Steel...the entire album...and then go listen to anything E.L.P. or ASIA put out. Not even close.

  • @truenewyorker101 i think your reply is an even bigger waste of time because they're two completely different drummers in how they approach the kit, so it's not even worth arguing. if i had to leave it up to preference, i prefer palmer to neil because of his technique, and his sporadic solos are more entertaining to me.

  • Boy, John Wetton hasn't missed to many early bird specials, has he?

  • Steve Howe actually died four years ago. He just forgot to lay down.

  • yep I was at this concert Yes followed Asia Steve Howe played with both bands

  • Yes, that's Steve Howe on the left. He's plays in both Asia's and Yes' set in one night.

  • Love the stick trick on the cymbal at 2:20!

  • Awesome! We play the most Carl Palmer than any station in the World!
