i keep hearing that The Pamplemousse isn't retired yet but its been like a year and a half since he has raced, is he retired yet or is he shooting for any races soon?

No, he's still at Santa Anita in Julio Canani's barn. They are hoping to bring him back to the races soon.

The mousse is gorgeous, a happy, aimiable horse with very promising running power. I love the way his people went to stroke his head, pat him when he won the Sham. Seems like they are good to him - not all are good to their horses. I.e. when reading about Secretariat and seeing videos no one but Eddie Sweat (his groom) ever seemed to care about him. All the crap too about Penney Tweedy resenting his being far better than Riva Ridge. Be good to a horse and it'll do so much more for you.

Maybe they told The Pamplemousse to do that with his nose just like they tell everyone else on that show to act and make things up.

I'm so excited they're shooting another season of Jockeys! It's had an impact on many people around me who know I'm going to NARA soon, and they're so excited!
The Mousse is definitely my pick for the derby also!

That's awesome! I was hoping they would go for another. Jockeys was a hit! More people need to know about racing. Pamplemousse is so silly with his nose right in the camera lol
