My FFB on my copy of Race Pro seems to be decent. I get a lot of wheel movement when I hit the wall and so on., but I get absolutely nothing when hitting the curbs.., there is no rumble/vibration when driving over them. Is this correct? The normal FFB is good. Nice and strong (feels great in the M3).., but it's weak in a few areas outside that.

Like Race Pro fine but the game has a serious problem with saving your career progress..Its happened to many guys out there for no apparent reason the memory can be loss anytime you play having to start it over from the begining..so frustrating I have to let the game go.

I was a little sad to see Race Pro judged by 'Career Mode' alone. Like most racers, 'Career Mode' is weak, the AI is slow, and it's there just to unlock cars. It's outside of 'Career Mode' where Race Pro SHINES. Best AI I've ever raced against. Driving physics are superb. Best disc I've ever put in a console, bar none. I can't stop playing it.

Netkar PRO looks very nice, but they have like EVERY single detail EXCEPT the driver's hands! even the SimBin games which have a slightly outdated engine have that!

Heres another explanation, most people know battle field well even though battle field on pc is superior with it scale, the console is supeior with its engine frostbite even though its smaller, maybe the console with race pro coudlnt handle all the physics though, so they had to dumb it down a bit, maybe it just needs a patch...

I'm very happy this show exists, just discovered it... however, just helpful criticism. perhaps a bit more scripting so there's no guessing on what you're talking about, less 'uh' time, etc. Just to clean it up. Excellent show though, again...very happy to see Sim Racing has this these days. :)

No mention on the lock-to-lock wheel setting in Race Pro? From the footage it seems that it's the same as in previous SimBin titles (only 200 degrees). In GTR2 or Race07 on the PC you can counter this by first fiddling with driver settings (set it to e.g. 540 degrees) and then increasing the wheel lock angle in the in-sim car setup (to e.g. 23 deg). The on-screen wheel would still only turn 200 degrees, though. This is, IMHO, one of the SimBin sims' weak points.

We were using the hardware settings on the wheel. THe 911 Turbo allows you to adjust it on the wheel. I believe we ran at 360. You can't adjust it in game.

On the PC, you can adjust that by editing the controller ini.. I think.. I know you can on rFactor.

My opinion on "hardcore mode" is that a true racing sim does not need a hardcore mode as it should be as realistic as they can make it and therefore just be "hardcore" by its nature.

The Damage scores are correct for Race Pro..Darin = 60 Shaun = 72. Multiplayer scores both show 60 and that's correct.. The score cards show "DAMAGE". They should say "MULTIPLAYER". The scores represent what Shaun is saying, please take them as such. Sorry for the confusion. Damage - D = 60 S = 72 , Multiplayer - D = 60 S = 60

You don't need to wait for the video to be fully loaded. Some time ago youtube added the feature to skip beyond the buffer. Just set the slider to an arbitrary point in the time line and the playback will start there almost instantly. Just try it! ;)

Agreed. There were two damage ratings for Race Pro, the 1st at about 21:15 which seems to be the true rating and the 2nd at about 22:45 after talking about the speed bug. What's that supposed to mean?

I also think that it was rather an advertisement than a review of the wheel stand. I'd really like to see some more details about stability, including footage. This thing looks like it is going to get wobbly when one sets force feedback to high levels, at least after some time of actually using it.

yes it is 0 or 90 degrees. At first I was disappointed about this, however it ended up being fine for every options that we tried. We used it on a couch, a game chair, and also a typical deskchair. Because of the adjustable angle and height of the stand and the pedals ability to move back and forth quite a bit it worked for all situations there.

Good review... Typically for most 360 games online you find tons of little kids wrecking each other. In this title, I have actually been very impressed with the maturity of the online crowd. Maybe just luck of the draw... Time will tell. Also bottom line: While this didn't blow me away overall as well, mainly due to graphics need a little more work, if you are a simracer on console... playing anything else on console right now is a huge sacrifice in physics. And that is 2 much to sacrifice.
