Simple,

Fasten weight 60/40 total weight at tail gate and this never happens.

Plowing commercial for 30 years, we don't get stuck.

This long wheel base design is made to haul 5th wheel trailers smooth as a Caddy.

Venturing out in deep snow empty and dense snow pack = stuck.

Some Kids just have too much fun.

But Hey, your out in the best view there is, so have at it.

Nothing beats snow laden pine forest.

Once you spin the snow to ice, Lockers are not much help.

Thats an aftermarket addon. You can put it on any truck. AMP Research Power boards... i think Bestop is selling them now.

it's just to turn your steering wheel full turns in both directions while holding on the gas and spinnin the wheels.. it has always worked for me, but be careful not to slide to the side of the road, then you'r really stuck!

yeah but the thing is its optional from the factory, but if your going to spend that much on a 4x4 you might as well go ahead and get the lockers we just sold a truck same year and model with a 8.0 liter and 4.11 gears it would go anywhere but loved to drink some gas.

I think it all depends on what dealership you go to.. My last truck was a 4 door heavy duty, and it had the locker as optional. I bought an 08 silverado last sept, and the dealership I went too, it came as standard.. I guess it depends on who you go to..

it is because of the long bed.. Weight is off balanced.. Light ass end, with heavy front end.. Why I will never buy a long bed truck.. I always get my silverado's with the standard length bed!!!!
