Would anyone recommend buying an mr2? i know a guy selling one for $1500, but idk if its worth it? its an 84-85 mr2... thats pretty much all i know about it.

hey i got 91 mr2 also and i need help...when i turn my car on it there is a high pitch sound...i believe its the fanbelt that might to get tighten? well i tighten it and it goes away for a while...so then i buy a new fan belt because the noise comes back and i put in the new one...it stops for a while...then now it does it again... !? :(

Yes,I own a '91 na without powersteering,it gives you very good road feel unlike some cars with powersteering.

Absolutely fantastic. you have great video talent. Also, the mr2 is my all time favorite car. The NSX, Skyline GTR R34 and Lotus Elise/Exige are up there too.

Very nicely done, love the music. Excellent shots angles and lighting effects. The slow and fast motion are very nicely done as well.

A friend of mine use to have an MR2, it always felt like we were riding around in an exotic Lotus or Ferrari. The reliability is amazing, very low upkeep cost, GREAT MPG as well.

I agree with redmr2na below, The Mazda Miata is just way to girly and "cute" looking. Kind of like the VW Cabrolet. The Miata is just not a car for Males. It's a girls car.

That Yes the Japanese could build a truly beautiful one of a kind, exciting car that was reliable and fun. Mazda Miatas are too cute and at the time of their debut, a little underpowered which I think was and is their downfall.

Im currently after an MR2 GT, a clean one at that. I think they are awesomely good looking cars. I'm a sucker for clean lines...and as for an NSX...I'd take one over almost anything else 7 days a week. Love that car. Love the MR2.

I have a SW and love it. It is a beautifully styled modest little car. NSXs and Skylines are a might too flashy for me. A MR2 is a car that will turn heads but you won't have a mental meltdown if it gets scratch once or twice. Skylines I feel are nice, but have to much potential to get a driver in trouble. The Skyline and NSX will always have the problem of trying to be a Ferrari and Porsche Turbo, and falling short. The MR2 will always be special, because it showed the world...

I agree with you wibblywobbly1. I feel the same way. NSXs and Skylines are nice, but they don't hold a candle to a Mk2 MR2. I feel that NSXs and Skylines are a little over priced and not really all that special. The MR2 on the other hand for the money is awesome. They came out 6 years before the NSX and really I think showed Honda how to do a mid engined road car. I love the looks, they look like Ferrari Dinos, and in concept are a lot like them.

The MR2 mkII is probably the only car ever to come out of Japan that has become a timeless classic with a design that is still admired over 20 years later. Its great to see a video that doesn't just concentrate on 'look how fast I can go'. I love mine.
