  • Thanks MiniAddict. I take my PC into the garage to watch as I fix my 1966 Mini

  • get a large syring, fill it with grease, you can the pack the bearings a lot easier with it.

  • nice mate! are the rear bearings the same? cos I need to change them.. :) thanks for ths great vid! keep 'em runnin mini lovers ;)

  • Great video. If you put the seat in the fridge for a bit it will drop right in and expand to a perfect fit when it warms up.

  • thank you, helped me save over 345$ @ the garage :)

  • nice job - couple of comments - there was no mention of the big split ring spacer that sits between the inboard bearing race and the Seal? Also, why do the Seals sit 'flush' with the hub face and not actually butted up against the bearing races?

  • @jimmybobbikins having thought this myself and done this yesterday i have an answer for your question (belatedly), if you push the seals all the way to butt up with the races it rubs and hinders the movement of the bearing, i now have to dig out my seals again and replace them. The split ring is an "optional" part that rover found wasnt actually needed.

Great Video Guys, although i use a bearing driver to made sure the bearings dont deform with the punch but most people done have one.
