  • U guys are amazing... for it´s look a really mess !! did u guys are dentist or doctor ?

  • i had my ameloblastoma removed late last year, it was nothing compared to this size. so weird watching someone else's happen. horrible things they are. caused me so much trouble.

  • i think it's just because i'm young and currently in dentistry but OMF surgery seems like the most glamorous thing you can do from this side of medicine.

  • what were the drs opinions about his chance if he didnt get the surgey && if he did?

  • what was the proximate size of this tumor? & was it close to the main artery?

  • @leabby1414 7cm's, which required removal of a portion of the jaw. It was sitting on the facial artery & vein, which are sizable vessels.

  • @Demagogue8990 Could you inform me if the pacient is ok.Is he depressed or he is fine?

  • @luisaheavymetal He's doing fine. He has moved to another state & is being followed by another team of doctors.

  • @Demagogue8990 Thanks :) I'm glad that he's fine!

  • is there anyway they can do a suegery like that without any blood transfusions?

  • @leabby1414 they sure can; however, the tumor would have to be much smaller.

  • Damn. This is why I'll never be a surgeon. I can watch pretty much anything if I know it's special effects, but the real deal always makes me squeamish.

  • did the patient have to have a blood transfusion?

  • @leabby1414 yes he did. he received 2 units of blood.

  • Very nice reconstruction, especially after such dramatic changes to the mandible.

  • I love how Behind Blue Eyes is playing in the background

  • You mean a lateral sinus window technique sadfsd4? Also you need to be a md first then specialize in oral maxfax or you can become a dentist then become an oral surgeon then do oral maxfax while doing your md.

  • what's your opinion about the auxiliar Technique of cryoterapy to minimize the recidive?

  • i want to be a oral maxillofacial surgeron

and after be a MD, it's a good combination because i can use the both knowledge

  • this happened to me as well i have 7 more surgeries left after this it really sucks

  • That happened to me but only less severe. I'm only 14, which really suprised me because it's common among african americans over 30.

  • =( hope ya better now tho m8.

  • Thank you for posting!
