UT's class will be loaded no doubt, but you need to consider other factors when you start "guaranteeing" national championships--no one can guarantee that.

That is complete bullshit. Florida is already going to battle UT for the #1 spot prior to UT losing its 'top 5 prospects.'

UT will miss out on some of the major prospects in TX like Lache Seastrunk and they just lost the best LB in the state in Corey Nelson

Are you on crack or crazy? Gilbert has never taken a snap let alone started a single game in College. You think that as a true Freshman that he's gonna beat out McCoy. There's absolutely 0% chance of that ever happening. Gilbert still has to learn the new offense. In fact, he doesn't really have the athleticism to play the kind of offense Mark Brown plays. The coaching staff will have to adjust their offensive style around him.

WOW, i can't believe I actually heard a fan of a team in another conference finally admit that the SEC is currently the strongest conference. It's good to see someone with sense. The main people that won't admit it are fans of teams in conferences like the Big-10, ACC, and Big-east, and Pac-10 (none of which are close to the SEC or Big-12 in strength except for maybe one good school per conference). The Big-12 is strong i will admit. the thing that swings it to the SEC is florida.

texas has 3 5 star recruits if ur lookin off of rivals. espn does theirs off a grade scale, and they think we did better. both schools have 11 4 stars and we have 6 3 stars compared to ur 2! but its kinda funny u didnt comment on r 2010 class which is smart cuz NOBODY comes newhere close to us for next year and nobody will! r class this year was good but r class for 2010 is arguably on of the best of all time!

Wow! 6 3 star prospects, that's nothing to be proud about. I haven't even looked at anybody's 2010 class until you mentioned it. That class means NOTHING now, players can De-commit or their ratings can be bumped down, or anything else can happen. Plus those players have to prove it on the field.
