@bekjanov1 Listen carefully - I say "Tashkent Rush Hour" and not Tashkent Russia. I know Tashkent is in Uzbekistan considering I bought the tickets and got the Visa to enter Uzbekistan and not Russia
Thanks for the comment Geni. We loved Tashkent too but preferred Samarkand, Buhkara and Khiva - we would love to go back and wish you well on your travels there this summer.
@durbanbay Rus has referred to the palce where you have captured this shot. the place is called Chorsu. it's in old town. i bet, you were standing on the stairs of the medreseh Ko'kaldosh.
I am not saying "Tashkent - Russia" I am saying "Tashkent Rush Hour on a Saturday Night" - I think its my accent. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Thanks for the video. I watched and enjoyed. I miss Tashkent, Andijan... I mean Uzbekistan, in general. When you go to Uzbekistan next time, Fergana Valley, as you plan, please upload videos again just like this. And I do hope you will have a wonderful time there. Really appreciate it. All the best...
You bet we will go again and definitely head east. We absolutely loved going west but we were sorry we never had the time to get to the Feragana valley. When we do go we will definitely post more videos. Thanks for your kind words.
I loved the video buddy. All of the cars there are made in uzbekistan around 1996-2004 or some thing hehe ^^ and i have rided on those modern green busses they are good and i agree with you with taxi there is alot of people making living with cabbing (driving taxi).
You shoud have taken trip to uzbekistan in summer, its very nice there summer time hehe.
Yes. We heard that the cars were Uzbek made. We loved travelling in winter. We were the only tourists and the weather was great all the way. Thanks for the great comments. I really appreciate it. We do intend to go back to Uzbekistan. We had such a great time there.
I wish I was your guide, I would be able to tell a lot of historical stories about my country, traveling alone sounds like a challenge, exciting though
Maybe next time we go to Uzbekistan (and we will) I will be in touch. But next time I want to go east to the Feraghana Valley and into the Pamir Mountains
the first white bus u called "old" is actually quite new. They make those in Samarkand. And other small Daewoo cars as well. Probably u meant "old style" :)
I hope i can learn how to drive in uzbekistan again wheni go back ;-)
Oh. I didn't realize they were made new. Yes, you are right, they are old style. Despite everything we felt very safe in most forms of transportation. There were some scary moments in a few taxis but for the most part it was great.
the old cars are awesome

A lot of Militia and intelligence dudes checking passports on streets and poor people facing hardships of Govt. there. Andijaan is a sick place.

Hi Sanjar,
You are welcome. My accent is a little strong and when I speak some people battle to understand. No worries. I know it is Uzbekistan.

Not "Tashkent, Russia" but "Tashkent Rush Hour" you may not understand my accent. Tashkent is certainly not Russia but Uzbekistan.
