Get a FX4 F250 PowerStroke Turbo Diesel get a 6" suspension lift, 3" Body lift, 20" Wheels, 37" or so mud tires and you've got more ground clearance, more luxurious, more capable off-road with having 4HI and 4LO, better MPG, and for half the price!

You can get an H1 from 30k to 140k, you'll pay more for the lifted and custom jobs. I'd say their not bad on price... You can tune 'em and get up to 22mpg(I can only speak for the 06), plus the fact you can convert to bio of SVO

plus side: they went back to the h1, they fitted it with 6.6 l engine, o.s.v.

down side: the h1 is out of production, it's ecspensive, (unless you are rich),

style: one solid piece of metall fitted with wheels and one hell of an engine,

performanc: very powerfull, not so good economicly, (unless you still are rich..)

conclution: the hummer is a great car, mainly off-road, but posible to use in town,

the power is overvelming, witch makes you feel like a 7 year old. ;)

can find a good used one fore under 80 some times more if its modified. but you can build an H1 and do a cummins or a d-max for cheaper than 60..

@badmatt yes you can buy an older one with the non turbo diesel and swap in a 12V 6bt cummins and have all the power the alpha has but without the hefty price tag and get better fuel economy too
