Jim Lee's style was basically what got me into comics with his work on X-Men back in the early 90's..

He made every single character look just so incredibly dynamic & awesome!

Great that he took the time to talk us through the process, it looks amazing despite him not having much time time to plan it all out.

i'm not knocking it at all but i sort of wish he would have darked the back part of the diamond on super mans "S" to add more contrast to that particular area. just in general, compared to the contrast in the rest of the image, the area behind batmans face is very gray to me

I'm surprised you didn't use an Opaque Projector or something. But then again this seemed like it was a spur of the moment thing. I'd be way too chicken to just started sketching on that door, I'd have to use an opaque projector.

Yes it was. He said in an earlier video he messed up and Superman was suppose to wrap his arm around his head to pull him into the drawing.

But he messed up and had Superman with his arms crossed. So he came up with an idea to use Superman's vision to go through Jay's head and his eyes focusing on him to bring him into the photo =p
