@davanfirinn EZ Flo 60 works good for cold cast bronze because it so so low viscosity. You could do that process with 120 but it would make the 120 VERY thick and difficult to slosh.
Once you have cast a few pieces of ez flow 120 is it possible to glue them together and have a strong bond? If so what would you use to affix the pieces together?
I can't enough of your videos--I like them so much, I saw them....twice (couldn't resist the Simpsons quote).
I was wondering what the chances are of you making a video in which you explain the process of making a gel10 full head mask with a three part mold (including the core armature insert)? Or, perhaps you might suggest doing it another way.
Thanks again for all the hard work! I know how hard it is to produce a decent how-to video.
The process for a full head mask with a core is an involved process that can't easily be fit onto youtube. Time permitting I may cover some of the steps though.
Yes. You can either order EZ 60 and ask for 120 in the notes section of your order (they are the same price) or you can call to order. We have many products in our physical store that are not up on the webstore yet.
Really nice videos thank you... I'm thinking of making a mask and was wondering if this procedure with the resin can be applied... I was hoping to make a strong and hard half mask so if you could give me some tips that would be great thanx
Please show how one would cast armour, the object you have is ideal for the technique you are using in the vid, but what about for objects that are not closed like this head, what about armoured shapes and plates, a lot of people are interested in creating costumes, cozplay or larp or perhaps even the odd re enactor who whats a lightweight suit even, please show us the technique we would use to make armour, I'm sure it would have a lot of interest, perhaps the DVDs on your site have info also?
Open molds need a brushable resin. You can make several of our resins brushable by adding PolyFiber thickener. I believe our video on the Foam Logo illustrates this process.
I looked at your store and they don't offer Easy Flo 120 only 60 and your main supply site is apparently down. I'd like to order some if possiable. Just let me know what I can do to order some. Looks like some great stuff.
After the cast, what tools i need or how can i put the acrylic eyes into it?

@brickintheyard can i use EZ flo 120 in a latex mold? instead of a silicone mold?
chahueto 10 months ago
@chahueto I have some customers who have done that but I have not. Not sure what release you would use.

Quick question: Is this stuff easy to paint and, if so, are you aware if it's purchasable in the UK? Thank you :)

@IrisWatcher As with most urethane resins you'll need to primer it 1st. Check with mouldlife for resins over on your side of the pond.

I looked on your online store, and I was unable to find EZ Flo 120. It appears that you only have EZ Flo 60. Do you still cary 120? Thanks.

Yes, this technique would work for that.

This stuff is really impressive, especially the final part where you toss it on the ground.

EZ Flo 120 is strong stuff indeed. Just don't try that in the middle of winter. No bueno.

is there a release to allow you to use this material with old style latex molds?
RichAtVNS 3 years ago
2300 spray release would probably work, but I'm not at all familiar with resin casting into latex.

do you have a shop or website?

There's lots of stuff we offer that is not on the webstore. Call us. FYI, EZ Flo 120 is the same price as the 60.
