I just bought the phone about a week ago. However, I don't seem to be able to off the online symbol eventhough I hv off it. It will be off but only for a short while and once I move to the next screen, the symbol will be 'on' . Please can someone who faced similar problem to advise me if you managed to fix it. @dinozeff If it is online, than it shows signal data connection online, but if you don't want to be online, than press and hold few seconds the red button on front screen and will pop up request if you want to disconnect data connection, say yes!!
its really difference between china product n real one, trust me.. i get this one for my gf (china product) and after 4 month i buy one for me (original from nokia store). its really far difference, accsesories, performance and so on..

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE! It is a joke!! Orange pulled it off the shelves as most of them were being returned. The touch screen only works half the time, the phone freezes, calls get cut off after 20 seconds AND the battery runs down after about 6 hours. I am stuck with it now as noone will accept responsibility! Worst phone I have ever had!!!

Bad Keyboard, user interface sluggish, poor Ovi store that is not country specific, buying music is a real stressful experience, rubbish camera, rubbish touch screen, very very bad overall. This was designed for all those people who want lots of mega pixels, lots of multi tasking, lots of bad programming. Looks good on paper but is a real DOG of a phone. Extremely frustrating to use. This Phone have a big bug called "Hand Effect" so if it's in GSM mode and you take it in your hands, the signal level go down and it's impossible to have a normal conversation.
Bug!! The headset controls fail ever so often. One has to switch off and on to get it working again.
can't wait to see the white screen of death while rebooting, other have reported about it.
Whats with not being able to switch between dialed numbers and missed calls list when accessing dialed numbers through the answer key! many OS flaws.. The tabs on the screen do not work at all.. U would need to go in to apps > log and then access it from there every time, or have a freaking shortcut.

Wow I have one i bronze.. I tell you, its the nicest phone Nokia ever made! Its thin, its good looking, has great quality feel to it.. Over all a great device.. The touch screen is so much more responsive than other Nokia touch phones as well, which is really good :)

Had one for a week now. Very good. Space bar is the right place, touch screen is good, although software not as fast but nothing to complain about. Nokia's Ovi store is a 1 star and playing music is not very streamlined. Also the Nokia music store is best part of rubbish. iphone wins in most areas, but I highly recommend this phone. GPS great btw, email app great. Oh, reception is not as good as other phones such as the 6700.

I have N97 Mini, i got it from Vodafone contract mobile, It has been crashing since I got it, it freezes when it boots up, I have to keep resetting it to factory setting using Shift + Space + Delete and On button It looks like Nokia N97 mini has memory management or system problem. I have lost most of my business contact details and other important documents. Nokia knows this problem consumers are keeping their voice high but Nokia is still in silence doing nothing about it. I have this phone and yes, it has WiFi. You can acess your e-mails and when you receive one e-mail the phone automaticly make a sound, in real time, and the most phones don't do that. The Ovi Store can't be compared to the Apple Application Store, but it is ok. It's a young store, so it doesn't have much cool things yet, but it's ok and i'm sure that is going to better. The only bad thing is the duration of the battery, that is two days if you use it very much, but it's ok. I recomend this phone

Bug!! The headset controls fail ever so often. One has to switch off and on to get it working again.
can't wait to see the white screen of death while rebooting, other have reported about it.
Whats with not being able to switch between dialed numbers and missed calls list when accessing dialed numbers through the answer key! many OS flaws.. The tabs on the screen do not work at all.. U would need to go in to apps > log and then access it from there every time, or have a freaking shortcut.

Wow I have one i bronze.. I tell you, its the nicest phone Nokia ever made! Its thin, its good looking, has great quality feel to it.. Over all a great device.. The touch screen is so much more responsive than other Nokia touch phones as well, which is really good :)

alrite mate i got 1 of these and when i send a txt message it goes straight to outbox saying failed ive tried few things takin battery and sim out ive reinstalled the software and it still does the same... would appreciate it if you knew anything that would fix it cheers....

Had one for a week now. Very good. Space bar is the right place, touch screen is good, although software not as fast but nothing to complain about. Nokia's Ovi store is a 1 star and playing music is not very streamlined. Also the Nokia music store is best part of rubbish. iphone wins in most areas, but I highly recommend this phone. GPS great btw, email app great. Oh, reception is not as good as other phones such as the 6700.

I have N97 Mini, i got it from Vodafone contract mobile, It has been crashing since I got it, it freezes when it boots up, I have to keep resetting it to factory setting using Shift + Space + Delete and On button It looks like Nokia N97 mini has memory management or system problem. I have lost most of my business contact details and other important documents. Nokia knows this problem consumers are keeping their voice high but Nokia is still in silence doing nothing about it. Check Nokia's forum.

hi, im struggling to decide whether to get this phone (nokia n97 mini) or the motorola dext (cliq). The nokia n97 mini is smaller but has a bigger screen, but the dext is an android phone, they just look more fresh, and also can you say which one has better games or apps? thank you

I have this phone and yes, it has WiFi. You can acess your e-mails and when you receive one e-mail the phone automaticly make a sound, in real time, and the most phones don't do that. The Ovi Store can't be compared to the Apple Application Store, but it is ok. It's a young store, so it doesn't have much cool things yet, but it's ok and i'm sure that is going to better. The only bad thing is the duration of the battery, that is two days if you use it very much, but it's ok. I recomend this phone
