  • I own the HP CP-1525NW . I have to flip the paper over for dual side printing . But its cheaper than this printer , That printer cost about 500.00 dolars and the one I own cost me 149.00 on sale for black friday sale . But the print toner cartridges cost about 80.00 a piesce . You can find them on ebay for 100.00 for a rebuilt set or refill them for abot 50.00 .

  • I appreciate your comments on how well this 2020 works; but can anyone help me to just install it! I have tried on my mac and on my hp laptop; no success! and calling HP doesnt help...the guy in another world just wanted to sell me $400 worth of products to clean up both my computers; I just want to install this NEW printer today; only been working on it 2 hours now.

  • Duplexing has been around since the early 90's. Some it's an option, some it's built in and usually denoted by a D suffix on the model number

  • what is double sided plsz tell me before tommorow

  • My school has about 20 laser printers which they have had for about 5 years+ (the time I've been at the school) which can print double sided, in colour, in half the time it takes for that to do it.

  • i have the same kind

  • cool HP Color Laser jet cp2020 i have on to and it prints out so quick

  • @airplanetime no you dont kyle ive been to your house

  • Comment removed

  • It didn't print the YouTube logo

  • @Tovkal its cause he has a mac

  • hi everyone does anyone know what would be the most detailed accurate scanner printer price no object?thanks

  • Its called duplex. You have the CP2020DN D is duplex and N is networking.

  • Pause at 0:09

  • how did the print come out glossy???

  • I got myself a 5-in-1 Canon brand printer for 108 bucks!!! ^^ It prints, scans, copies, faxes, and also prints from SD cards. Its really great! ^__^ And Im definitely not going to waste my ink...

  • That is a boss printer I love the double sided printing feature. I use to use a printer at my old school that did that but it was not laser.

  • does any one know what types of printers are best for printing directly onto cd's/dvd's

  • hp printer

  • you cant get any for home use, get a specialist photo store to do it for you

  • it appens wen i eye do uuuuuuuuuuu shat come back out thn geta sucked bak in

  • iSmith024 is right in fact, if your getting a laser printer, most have the 2 sided page function! I bought a laser printer about 2 years ago, n only found out a few months ago it had this feature on!

  • Bs most printers don't have 2 sided printing. I've been through a long line of printers and I have never had or even seen a 2 sided printer.

  • My Epson 600 printer has two-sided printing. Almost all printers do.

  • @iSmith024 Almost all printers have auto-duplex printing???

  • @NurEineStimme not automatically

  • @iSmith024 actually most laser printers don't have double sided printing. most inkjets today do but not lasers, only the higher end lasers have double sided printing

  • lol nice

  • sort of expensive, not really worth it in my opnion. Wireless is nice though, good for macbooks

  • Heck, my HP Deskjet 932C prints 2 sided prints. Cheaper than this one. Got is at Staples. Years ago.

  • The Dell 3110cn has been able to do that for years. We have them at work.

  • How is it that your HD on youtube is clear even in the smaller viewer size?

  • his cam might be 1080p...YouTube's standard for HD is only 720p

  • I love chris's vids but sometimes the thing with his reviews is that you feel like he will give everything a good review in order to keep tech companys sending him stuff inturn just benefiting himself instead of the audience

  • ok that is cool, of course you could just put the same page in backwords on any computer^^

  • Oh yes let me pay 300-400$ for a two-sided printer without caring about the image quality at all!

  • I've had a HP Duplex Printer for ages. Many years!

  • man, Chris, you should have an episode in "Cribs" haha

  • I don't know if a lot of inkjet printers have this, but my Kodak ESP7 does print both sides automatically in a similar (but slightly slower) fashion.

Why I'm saying this, because the ESP7 is a piece of crap when it comes to actually printing properly. It would be nice to see a scan of that printed page to see the quality. Maybe this is me just bickering, this is not a "review", more like a "you should buy this because they gave me one".

  • Thats awesome.

  • i like that

  • My four year old printer does that... you just have to manually put the paper back in the tray.

  • dude you're probably loaded with cash...

  • hes sent the stuff to review then he has to give it back this way hp makes money

  • some hp printers does the 2 sided printing

like my photosmart c6250 all-in-one printer

  • the school that i used to go had that! but some of students were just playing with it so i think next year we wont have that!

  • meh, my school has ones that do this

  • We're using this printer very often at work (University of Augsburg, Germany). It's very nice, but many older priners can duplex, too.

  • isn´t duplex printing a pretty old feature ?

I mean there have been duplex-printing options for printers for sooo long...

  • i would want that peice of paper

  • Awesome!! automatic!!!

  • I have one like this and ir a piace of *****

  • 1:38 HAHA!

  • I'm probably familiar with printers, that can print both sides of the paper. It's great to have both sides of the paper printed, because it's great for the environment. That reduces wasted paper.

  • I will buy that printed paper.

  • Never its mine :P

  • Hisssss. I have a copy of Vista and im not afraid to use it!

  • I'll beat you with a stick of Linux

  • Get your kit off! .....k...

  • I'm waiting for the Memjet printers to arrive.

  • The real test of a laserjet is how well it works after a few years and several thosand prints. The 4000 series HPs are good, the 3005 series are not so good. Some of the 2000 series have been pretty good for the money. I have not had any hands on with the CP2020 yet.

  • LOL chris i dont mean to sound mean but is that the special feature? ALOT of printers already do this. Hell my printer just a cheap $70 (au) printer is wireless and does duplex (double sided) printing.

But i suppose i was a little exited when i did this for the first time. :)

  • canon doing that for ages now lol

  • what pirillo do for a living?

  • talking online and getting moneys from hes sponsors :P + the other sites he own etc :) imba life XD!

  • Does chris always seem to be... arrogant and... boasty when hes talkng about stuff?

  • yup

  • Nice, I use a Canon ip4500 (not a laser)

It has the auto duplex feature which I use 90% of the time, also works on both mac and pc. Also does direct to cd printing.

But apart from that it's pretty much featureless which is also good as it makes it cheap and the quality of the rest of the machine is better than those that are all in one.

  • Impressive printer

  • Nice Jacket!

  • he needs to make better reviews

  • Chris can you do a tour of your house we never seen your whole house. :)

  • ya don't you just want to do a review of your house.

  • actually if you watch the live stream, he has done a tour once before, and there is a house tour, is pretty far back in his youtube videos though

  • What do you do if you've swan never to buy another HP printer again as long as you live! I bought a great 4-in-1 HP. Then about two weeks my eMachine died. The motherboard and the CPU where fried via power serge. So I got a kick-ass Gateway FX laptop. The the day came when I needed to print something and I hooked up me new laptop to my new printer and found out that it did not work with it because the Laptop had Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I could not take the printer back. NO, not me !

  • 4BetaMale2 . Why don't you check HP's website for a driver? I had the same problem with my new PC, which has Vista Home Premium 64. I just went to the website, selected my printer, downloaded the driver and now it works.

  • How much is ink, thats the decider in my house hold.

  • i herd its expensive

  • do lazer printers even use ink ?O.o

  • Comment removed

  • awesome!

  • Damn that video quality is superb!!

  • What did you record this with??

  • Shiny prints! yay!

  • augh, how come I'm noticing people not doing common sense things more and more often?, such as zooming in on the print out....like OBVIOUSLY I want to see that, I don't have Eagle Eyes.

  • I have hawk eyes, remember up-down-left-right!

  • lol :-) lucky you haha

  • my color laserjet 2605 dn does 2 side printing automatically, like that printer too

  • my HP Color LaserJet 2605dn can also do 2 sided printing.. no new technology..

  • I love lazerjets! :D

  • THAT SHIT GLEEMED!

  • Just ordered it....im excited! i needed a new printer!

  • Where did you order from cuz I keep getting the 2025n

  • That's some good print quality.

  • Nice! I Want one now

  • wow, that was awesome

  • what camera is he using?

  • $454?!

  • Great. I love the two sided printing. But it costs more for me since i'm in Oz

  • lol u look like the guy from MTV kinda

  • Sweet hoodie, DO WANT.

  • $454!?!?!?!?

  • NICE! The printout has the same quality as the webpage.

  • That two-sided feature is so cool! I wish my printer did that :D.

  • There's a lot of printers (even ink jets) that do that...it's also called 'duplexing' I have a Canon Pixma MP530 that also does that. I seriously recommend my own printer...it's cheap (for what it does) and it works extremely well. And the ink is reasonably priced for it.

  • wow!!! so sharp!!

  • now how didi know, before i looked down at the comments on thiw video, someone would want that piece of paper...want it signed as well ,hahahahaha..stupid quesiton, hahaha. on the printer, that a dam nice touch, and thats......FAST

  • how much is the ink or "toner" for it?

  • I want that piece of paper......

  • Its called duplex, and HP printers have been doing that forever.

  • Do a House Tour

  • Yeah!

  • Already done it.

  • double side.

  • 3:16 lol

  • this might sound stupid... but i really don't know much about these printers.

Will the laser get like... how could i explain this.. like inkjet printers. Ever run out?

  • uh...... yeah. of course you will need to buy cartridges and paper every now and then. The cartridges will last much longer than inkjet but they also are more expensive.

  • My college has had double sided color laser printers for awhile, I'm not so sure this features all that new or special.

  • In 2004 mine had an optional attachment that snapped on to the machine and made it capable of duplex printing.

Maybe these now have it built into the box and it's no longer an expensive option?

  • A snide comment from someone (see below) warrants response.

My point about toner cost is relevant only if cost per page is an issue for you.

If you are at an office, or home office, where color copies are needed, regardless of cost, then by all means, buy this printer.

For the rest of you, look at mags like Consumer Reports where they publish cost per page stats.

My color HP in 2004 cpp was 25-30 cents, inkjet was 5 cents.

Something to consider, unless money is not a concern.

  • Sweet hoodie, sweet printer, sweet - 70000 subscribers, congrats!

  • I'll take the printer but ditch that hoodie dude, OMG!

  • i got a printer like 5 years ago that dose that.. plus all printers will do that if you just take out printed page and turn around and put back in

  • wtf is he wearing

  • Clothes

  • kitchen tile?

  • my HP C6280 also has double sided printing, it's really neat a cool. Saves a lots of paper, especially when printed longer documents.

  • omg that is good quality

  • Thats not cheap

  • 2sided? dose annyone really carre?- wast of ink suck back in i bet ill eventuly jam like all printers do- theres better printers out there and more atractive onesmove the f on!!!

  • How is 2 sided printing a waste of ink?

  • How is it a waste of ink? If you are only printing on one side of the page then that is a waste of paper.

  • I bought a similar looking HP color laserjet in 2004, each was about $600 at the time (we bought two)

We used them until the toner ran out then they were stored in my basement where they still sit. Why?

THE TONER CARTRIDGES WERE ABOUT $100 EACH!!!! And our machines took four different color cartridges. Black, cayan, etc. That's right folks, toner was about $400 for a full set, $300 for recharged cartridges on eBay.

So "thanks by no thanks." Stick with inkjet if you want color.

  • I think if you did the math you would have found that those little $20-50 inkjet cartridge purchases end up costing a lot more than very rare $100 purchases of toner cartridges that last thousands of pages. It's also kind of funny that you mention $400 for a full set as though you have to replace them all if you run out of one.

  • I have been using printers to the tune of about $300,000, so I know how to do the math.

Our new HP color printer lasted about 3 months before one of the cartridges needed replacement. That was after about 500 pages. But HP printers come with a low yield starter cartridge, so that has to be taken into account.

Stats say the cost worked out to 25-30 cents a page. Inkjets are about 5 cents a page.

And typically color toner runs out about the same time.

    You do the math dude.

  • The only way you could get that figure is if you used starter cartridges and paid $100 each for them. You don't pay $100 for a 500-page yield cartridge, you pay $100 for a 2800-3000-page yield cartridge. My math puts the cost of toner at $0.03 per page.

On the other hand, an average HP InkJet that uses HP 21 and 22 cartridges gets about 200 and 170 pages respectively, again with 5% coverage. The cartridges are $20 and $25 respectively, resulting in an average of $0.12 per page.

    I did the math.

  • I want that piece of paper!!!!

    /sarcasm

  • OMFG that is soooo awesome

  • I want one :D I've posted this from iPhone YouTube app! 3.0 is awesome!

  • I have a duplexer, but it's not color.

  • sweet!

  • WEWT 70000th subscriber

  • Cant You show us youre house

  • $567 printer, $106 Catridge/Ink

    NO WAY

  • If it costs that much, then my mind is going "no way" aswell.

And I'm also guessing that most people wont even print out double-sided papers that often anyways. I can only see it being good for books (or alike).

  • Cool!

    Follow Me PLEASE

    @luke88addis

  • Excellent quality. That is such a cool feature that it prints on both sides of the page in under a few seconds. Convenience at your fingertips. The price also seems reasonable.

  • and with double sided printing, you save money and paper!

  • Wow, that was fast! Seems it has very good quality too.. I am getting one.. Thanks Chris =)

  • Nice hoodie brah, have the same exact one. Good review as well.

  • Chris you should try to sell that paper on ebay, but you would have to tell all your subscribys

  • is there a better price for a laser with auto dual side printing?

  • Nice Hoodie, Oh and cool printer to.

  • it's so strange that chris is probably the most famous person on the internet and he's practically pissing himself over two sided printing

  • lol amzing

  • Cool!!

  • ya 420$ no thanks

  • brother has that feature, on a wireless color printer, prints 25 color and b&w pages per min

    I have one

    Brother HL-4070CDW

  • printers are PoS generally speaking

  • well thats a clever statement.

  • i have one of that type of printer my self

  • I would buy the piece of paper looks glossy

  • thats what i thought

  • Is dat sum CP?

  • Its called duplex printing chris my xerox 5500dn does that ,its usually a more expensive feature that might be a bonus with the hp because its standard on that printer but that features been out for at least 5 years in home laser printers.

  • You are using a good camera. Nice picture without HD.

  • That 2-side printing feature is awesome, but I can't afford that much for a printer.

  • Duplex laser printing is nothing new... I'm not impressed.

  • The affordability might be the reason he reviewing this as well. I don't know anything about the history of prices for Duplex laser printers but $450 doesn't seem half bad for what all that printer is capable of.

  • Hahaha I would love it if Chris ran up to his office so he would appear on his live feed on his laptop hehe :)

  • Meh, I'm too poor to buy a Printer for $454.11

  • HP do the best printers

  • holy shit ur camera is amazing

  • Always buy HP for printers.. they're just great.

  • You should shoot all of your videos there!

  • i actually bought my current printer only because it had double sided printing. that and wifi, which laser printers don't seem to have yet...

  • i have double sided printing for like 3 years, but nothing that fast.lol.

  • my printer does 50 sheets every minutes its crazy how fast they come out its almost to fast

  • I really like Chris, but he took almost 5 minutes just to say it does two sided printing... It's awesome and all, but damn this was a poor review...

  • at about a minute and a half he says it has two sided printing. Before that he says wait, let me show you something, then he clicks the print button. I don't see what makes it a poor review.

  • Sorry for the discrepancy in my comment. It shall not be repeated, and I'll personally make sure it doesn't happen again.

Oh, by the way, he also stated that it can connect via LAN. And quality. Fast.

  • I have had that printer for about 2 weeks now, awesome printer. I have mine networked.

  • goddamn kike. vermin of the human race.

  • Hey thats a really nice review:)
