It looks like the only time he even slips the clutch is at the very end, when you can hear the engine being dragged down by him engaging it. The rest sounds like he blips the throttle instead of slipping the clutch.
@Assjanitor2 the dragging down could have been the bikes brakes at work with the clutch fully engaged. sounded like he blipped on every downshift, got near perfect engagement between the clutch and flywheel, then braked into the turn... trailbraking maybe?
i can efficiently downshift on my motorbike, but thats when im off the front brake and just using the back brake (which obviously isnt very efficient), whats the best technique to use so that your using both brakes and blipping the throttle on each change? hope that makes sense !
awesome video though, it gives me alot of insight. I have 07 r6, and theres alot of road tracks 1-3 hrs away from me, been planning on getting out to one.
If you preload the shifter and time the rolloff/rollon of the throttle, you don't need the clutch. Common racing technique (when you don't have an electronic shifter).
nothing sweeter than the sound of the engine on a race bike, especially Motogp!!!

A dirt bike doesn't have the engine braking, traction, or downside to doing it wrong that a modern sportbike has.

just enough to get the shift done. Basically - as fast at you can.
