I just love it how this game opens a new point of view in fromnt of the player. You are not just atiny figure and stats as i've been used to be in wow. Here u see acharacter move and fight pretty much on his own with increadible dynamic and animations. think this is the best part- the open spaces and the freedom. Can't say that it's better than wow before i've played it. We've seen WoW crush many great looking MMOs to the ground before.

The developers really needed to step it up and add those in, otherwise this game would be perfect. level cap is raised, more than enough races and builds, the only thing is mounts. People are going to start to complain about the long distances they have to travel.

@DannyBoy443 Also, there is a fast travel system (in place of mounts) that allows you to travel back to any previous waypoint you have been to for a small fee. ;) So there really isn't a need for mounts =)

@CrashAnimeLover i wouldn't say B&S is better then GW 2 because you haven't tried it neither do i, in reality is more of what you like best. If you like Qinggong martial art style with much more of chinese gameplay then this is for you. If you like action oriented with a medieval/steampunk feeling then this is your game. So really it's not of this is better then that it's of what you like that makes that game enjoyable. People have different taste in what they like.

@CrashAnimeLover It's all preference. I'm personally attracted by the hand-crafted aesthetics of GW2, and the consistently changing world due to player actions (ie Fable). B&S looks to be a pretty awesome game, but it's more along the lines of being managed by a team like Aion's - Aion itself is a great game, but the grind it has isn't in my best interest. B&S seems to be heading in that direction as well.

Is there a way to get more action bar slots or are you limited to those 10 seen in the video? Don't get me wrong but, I like the fact that you have tons of abilities in WoW and you need more than 10 buttons to use them all. If you're limited to just those 10, it's gonna be boring... @Killerpallo no you can have up to 20 spells but u only see 10 but you can switch weapon fast durin combat and it will have new spells and you can combine them with your spells or orther players spells to make them better. like a ranger throws down some fire shit and your warrior comes and does wirlwind axe and it throws fireballls everywhere. or a elementalist does his electric wall shit and a ranger can shoot through it and taze the guy. it pretty fucking intense

WoW will be there even if Guildwars2 will be a succes, ofc this fight here is awsome, and there are realy nice graphics, but if that would be the only thing that counts Aion would be the most played right now till GW2. You can write as much as you want, in the end it will show at release what GW2 is worth, and if it can compete with WoW in terms of popularity.

Pretty awsome is that GW2 moves the mmorpg genre forward with new systems and graphics.

True, Mythic did have a previous track record with DAoC, but unlike Mythic, Arenanet's Guild Wars is monthly fee - free. So it's fairly likely a sizeable portion of the population could just buy once and then pop back into Guild wars whenever they saw fit, as they did with the first GW. Dual-subscriptions were very common due to the absent montly fee on GW.

@xxxxScrewUxxxx When you die after a downed state, you don't get Death Penalty like you did in Gw1. You just lay there and have the option of either waiting for someone to rez you or go to the nearest waypoint. Either way, you'll be back in the action sooner than you know it.

@xSuLFaTEx Yes, some number of skills in the game require that you aim with your wep before you fire. I doubt all of them have to be aimed with but it would be neat.

The game actually has options for much better visuals if you were the type to play at max settings. It has the Havok physics engine (which is something that platforms like xbox360/ps3 would use) and directx10 is supported but not needed.

And at default it's on settings that general mid-range gaming PCs would be ok with.

@Xialoh because alot of the bosses in gw1 had a certain main color which dictated what class they were.. Like a boss with blue stripes would be a monk boss.. Since the dragon has purple flames I was wondering since the Mesmer color is purple if it used Mesmer skills.

but It could just use its own custom skills like the end game bosses in gw1 since it definatley looks like one of the endgame bosses ..(along with the other dragons that have awoken)
