@TheDiddlysquat Well this morning am running an Intek M100 and antenna Sirio Gain Master antenna so no "kickers" as you call them. In Germany, beam is legal as is now 1w AM/4w FM and 4w SSB but in next weeks will be legal Beams, 12w SSB, 4w AM/4w FM
Excellent Contact on FM into Wales Simon, :-) many thanks for the QSO.. I also heard you on channel at about 13:00 whist mobile in the town of Barry using a little Intek M100 and Hawk 1/4 wave on a mag mount, but couldn't get back to you from that set-up. :-(
@CherokeeCT Agreed Steve and have added another one now and you can hear how well were sounding here into Germany. That homebase was a good investment indeed. Sirio antennas on the air. Sad that did not hear you mobile :( i just listened to the tape of it and could not hear you indeed. Still we try another time and see how it works. Was indeed an excellent contact
looks like the 11m is wide open right now. have you set out a call a few minutes ago on channel 29? then here is my QSL 4u. it sounds like your voice which i received via a FRN gateway based in southern denmark, putting the signals into cq-qrz.dyndns.org. 55 2u
