Great video! I noticed you said you're not a big fan of the Hammer. If you're looking for a great hammer solution check out StraightLine's Air Hammer System. We've perfected the hammer in ways that make it steer much better than previous models. Keep posting the videos. Love watching rigs at work!!!
Thanks for answer:) I would like to apologise, my english is not very good. Anyway, my dad and me bought Vermeer 36x50 10 foot version this month, so maybe i ´ll be working on this machine next week:) I am looking forward in advance.
We already have a HDD german machine Grundodrill 10 S /torque 2500 Nm/ with hammer for 4 years /I don´t like to use hammer/ and i really love this work:)
It is all about preference. The pneumatic tooling is nice in completely solid rock, but in changing soil conditions the 36x50 is ideal when it has the RATsystem on it. Both save you the mess of not running a mud motor, the pneumatic you have a lot less of a mess, but more support equipment And with the 36, less raw power in solid rock Message me if you have more questions.I don't know everything about HDD but I have been in the business for ten years and drilled in many different soil conditions
nice video! Good work!

They should have duct taped behind that puller, those pullers are know to leak mud into the pipe...but nice reamers.

i would like to know - Is Grundodrill 15 N better in some way than Vermeer 36x50?
Is the hammer so important?
