Great Teamwork. I do agree that an auto scrubber would strip the floor more quickly however it does have its pitfalls. On uneven floors the auto scrubber may not get down in the dips and inevitably you always have to go back to the side to side. I know this from experience in my own business. Best of Luck to you and continued success!
@eaglegene Thank you so much. I always get thrown under the bus about this video. Everything from me kidding with my uncle Eric, to moving to fast and the list goes on.
2. I'd like to have 550 sq ft stripped and waxed. Follow up with spray buff every 3 months. Current contract we pay $192.50 (35¢) for strip and wax. We pay $110 (20¢) for spray buff. This is the break room of a small transportation company. Light furniture would need to be moved.
3. We need about 550 sq. ft. of carpet extracted. It hasn't been done in over 2 years. It is not good at all.
why don't you guys use an auto scrubber with stripping pads it would be way faster than with a side by side and would probably cut labor by half easily
@Wildthing1984 I like this way and the floors always come out great! We have heavy duty commercial scrubber machines they are too heavy, big, and bulky.
@MissLadyBizz i ve always been working with auto scrubber for stripping and never had any problem , the only time i use side by side is for office or where the autoscrubber can't go . you have great teamwork but the fact is that the auto scrubber would have save you that additional labor leaving you with plenty more money in your pocket
@MissLadyBizz its actually kind of funny. stripper, side to side motion. a attractive female, working none the less. on the floor. How can you not make a dirty (hahahaha, get it ) joke out of this video.

I just got into the "floor" biz 4 mths ago at a hospital in Houston. I had such a hard time trying to control the low speed machine. I was trained by a guy who didn't speak good English and it was hard to understand him even after asking him to repeat himself. Needless to say now it's as easy as pie and I have no problems stripping and waxing just about any floor type.
P.S. I still can't understand the guy who trained me. Fortunate for me, I'm on my own now.
i used a buffer for the first time today, i was born to buff lol, however my work mate was not so lucky and shot accross the room at high speed and tipped the machine and lost a whole tank of water lol,
good work

It lots of fun once you how to work the machine. Eric taught me how to use it.
That's great you got a hospital floor stripping contract especially in this economy.
MissLadyBizz 2 years ago
We have state of the art equipment cleaning and machines. There very heavy and bulky.

My first try using a buffer. I could not keep it in control. Bumping into everything Eric showed me how to use it.

Here we go AGAIN
1. First- if you do not own your own janitorial company. DON'T OPEN YOUR BIG MOUTH ABOUT JANITORIAL THINGS.
2. THE MACHINE IS LOCKED OR I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RUN IT DUMMY.
3. DON'T GET ON HERE AND TRASH SOMEONE, ALL THEY DO, THERE FAMILY AND THINGS THERE PASSIONATE ABOUT.
4. IF YOU WANNA KNOW SOMETHING ASK.
5. IF YOU HAVE, A SUGGESTION LET ME HEAR IT.
6. BUT DON'T TALK TRASH ABOUT MY FAMILY OR COMPANY.
WE ARE A GREAT COMPANY AND NICE PEOPLE.

Good vid,,Just 1 tip for the lady in Black,,You twist at the hip alot your going to stuff your back eventually..
MinMinLight666 3 years ago
I was in a car accident couple of years ago.
Now my back goes out on me from time to time.
So I make sure it feels comfortable when operating the stripping machine. (DONT WANT TO END UP IN THE E.R.)
And most importantly my clients are happy with the job.
MissLadyBizz 3 years ago
First Off......It does not matter how the machine is moved (AS LONG AS IT STRIPS OFF ALL THE OLD WAX, DEEPLY EMBEDDED DEBRIS.
2. If you really knew more about floor stripping (YOU WOULD NOT HAVE POSTED SOMETHING SO STUPID.
3. It's (SORRY) not soory.
