jdelbs18, you'd have a difficult time convincing Tomas Holstrom that the Red Wings franchise is favored. If they were, they wouldn't be stuck in the Western Conference and have to make those west coast trips. And I suppose the Red Wings have the longest streak of making the playoffs because everybody wants the Red Wings to win the Cup. But nobody likes the Red Wings except Detroit so why would the league rig the games so that they are always in the race for the Cup?! It just doesn't make sense.
