@yzchenwei euhm, look at Lahm, he's FAST and his swiftness is really a good thing for the team.. I am an all-rounder defensive player (backs/left/right/central) and People always have difficulties with my speed, speed, strength and a good tackle.. Those things make a defender GOOD

Brazil does have GREAT defenders, just watch our national teams. And most of our good defenders play in the first team of great italian clubs. That guy plays in the second or third division of the brazilian league.
