Just think they were both in Wcw. Hell Henning was even a Horsemen, but some dumbass probably Bitchoff. After a week or two had Curt turn on Flair and the Horsemen. That was so stupid they kept cramming the Nwo down our throats. I think that's part of the reason WCW, went out of business. You had the traditional NWA fans and when you keep seeing the Horsemen get burried it SUCKED!  NWO was good to a point, but it got old when they had half the roster and they always won.

I read in the Death of WCW book that the WWF made Flair look like a second rate wrestler in the WWF when he first jumped over.

Yeh, sure, having the man be the first to win the Royal Rumble from almost the start, having the man win the world title and be one of the company's top main eventers - good one.

I love that book but there were too many little stupid comments like that in it that slightly ruined it.

Well, he started good, but after six months he was a mid-carder. So, while they didn't treat him as bad as WCW later did, they didn't exactly push him forever. And they certainly never put him over Hogan as a top star. I think you need to reread that chapter son.

A mid-carder? What WWF were you watching? When was he ever a midcarder? He was always in a top feud between 1992-1993, and I would know that kid as I actually watched back then & don't need some inaccurate chapter to tell me about it.

He comes in, feuds with Piper/Hogan, wins the Rumble in 92, double main event at Wrestlemania, involved in the title picture at Summerslam 92, the big hyped tag match at Survivor Series, leaves shortly after! Even Flair's said that stint was one of his greatest.

I agree with SCFnL29.. Flair was always either the champion or a top contender during his short stint in the WWF. The only time he was even remotely a mid-carder was after Survivor Series 92 when he began feuding with Mr Perfect, but he was on his way out of the WWF anyway.
