I remember before we moved we had a small wood in our backyard, dad built a treehouse and my and my brother would pretend it was the forest temple, the big old gezibo down at the park was the temple of time, under the porch was the shadow temple, the park was the spirit temple, the swimming pool was the water temple, the porch was the fire temple, and the house was ganons castle. I miss my childhood :')

Twilight Princess ruined the mystique of the Temple of Time in my opinion. This is how it's meant to be: a creepy two-room castle that sends shivers down your spine. If I get any thumbs-downs I'll know that whoever did that has no taste.

I would agree because the actual music for the Temple in Twilight Princess (not the entrance) sucked in my opinion. I mean, why destroy a classic? The TP version sounded like the Temple was about to be taken over by evil and you're on a quest to destroy it. I say this because I haven't played the game but I have heard the song.

If Ocarina hadn't been so masterful, Twilight Princess would have ruined it for me. I really kind of despise that game for trying to ride its wave. I would often walk around the Temple of Time as slowly as possible just so I could feel more epic approaching the pedestal carefully.

Anyways.. I agree, sort of. While I think TP was a good game, it didn't add much to the series and sort of just made a combination of past Zelda games with better graphics.

If TP wasn't in the Zelda series, it would be a great game. SInce it is however, it disappoints a little. I really hope Skyward sword isn't a letdown

And then when Majora's Mask came out, we bot had to save up money for it-at the time it was £45, a lot for a 13 year old boy. We finally completed Majora's Mask 4 years ago! Ahhhh, good times! :D

I think it's just your technology ears. The universal truth is no matter what the instruments good compositions last forever, in fact i very much prefer the classic midi of many songs in gaming to some of the updated versions. There's something about how they were conceived originally that was tied to the technology, you probably can't see that because you're so hung up on the tech. It's nice to hear the updated version sometimes but in the end the original is always the best.

Love em both and I thought the ruins of the temple of time as in, this game being after OoT was a very nice idea. Ofcourse the games are alike, they're not only from the same series but also in the same world (just have time differences).
