if someone dosen't do something to improve the safety of the cockpits in those trucks, there's gonna be an impalement accident and feld is going to have egg on it's face again. if you guys would mandate the use of thick plexiglass or high tensile strength steel mesh(given the propensity for the drivers to want to cut up the plexiglass in the mud), you'd never have to know whether you needed it or not. you can have this one too.

@DirectorGoss dangerously thin, and only connected to the body. i don't know how many times i've seen the bodies get ripped off which totally compromises the safety, or stuff just goes straight through. i just don't want to wait until someone gets hurt before they change the designs.

@Thedeoradude really that's interesting. the only frontal plexiglass that i've seen on the broad majority of the trucks is the plexiglass windshield. once the body gets torn off(should that just so happen,...which often does in the course of a freestyle) there is nothing between the outside world and the driver but the cage and air. i HAVE footage of incidents where only the grace of god allowed a couple of different drivers to survive their encounters with mobile homes. wanna see it?

@benchracerX so it is you, in fact, that should get your facts straight. let me ask you something, if someone attempts to create a safer environment for either the drivers or the spectators and does so not at the expense of the show, what would kind of douchebaggery would inspire someone else to try and shoot the idea down? would you rather a driver get seriously injured and THEN modify existing rules? thinking like that makes more martyrs for sure.
