  • bad news allen was one of the greatest heels in wrestling history. He was the true ultimate warrior. He coined the phrase and it was his.not the other juiced up fake from the wwf.dingo.

  • Wow, this is the frist time I've heard the Stomper talk.

  • I was there the night "News" sent Archies' son to the hospital .. Archie went completely crazy .. He started throwing the steel chairs up and out into the crowd .. my son 12 or 13 at the time was petrified .. They brought the police in to clear the Pavillion .. ... Ed Whalen quit , walked away with the mike hanging on the top rope .. the times were different , and a fun time i will allways cherish... thanks Stu .

  • 4:32 ultimate warrior bad news allen? so thats were vince came up with the ultimate warrior idea

  • Beer belly sharecroppers.....LOL

  • An excellent performance.

  • @sycam3472 from the stomper bad news allen is terrible

  • The Ultimate Warrior Bad News Allen??

  • you sharecroppers

    LOL

    he gives the worst promos

u can see he is reading off cur cards

    watch his eyes

  • Yo this Gouldie guy can cut some promos! Makes me want to kick his ass for calling Allen "Boy".

  • good luck!

  • Hey - that is my uncle! He is such a badass.

  • Bill "Superstar" Dundee told me this was ONE DUDE WHO STAYED IN SHAPE..When he was in the Memphis territory he would ride a bicycle from one little town to the other...he used to do a "gimmick" where he would do pushups for like an hour..or situps..he STILL is in shape..

  • Why edit "Black Hide"? Bad News was Black dammit! At least they kept in Gouldie calling him "Boy".

Keep it real! The times were what the times were.

  • This promo gives me chills, this from someone who has never really seen more than maybe the match that this hyped up...this is a great promo.

  • Young wrestlers should watch this and learn from those two how to put butts in seats by excellent promos like these. Awesome!

  • Bad News' gimmick is great....sadly his promo here is very very average. Gouldie is the man when it comes to promos. It's a shame more fans and workers don't recognize his skills. He puts this angle over like a million bucks. I did have to laugh at his creative justification for raised ticket prices. Just an example of "talking them into the arena." A lost art....

  • Bad News had to be interviewed right after a match, when he was all wound up, in order to get a good interview out of him.

  • damn bad news was talking about this in his shoot interview he says this interview was one of the best he had seen the most real he had seen hey man whats the date for this and whats the story with ed whalen quitting and did he come back

  • When he says Calgary banned Stu's license, that was totally for real as they thought Allen's attack on Gould's "son" was way too brutal and caused a near riot. In fact, longtime Stampede announcer Ed Whalen quit in protest over the wild angle and it ended up doing more harm than good to the promotion.

  • So that's how the story goes with Ed.I thought that he left for health reasons.Where did you get this info from?

  • The excellent book "Pain and Passion" is a history of Stampede, highlights this big-time.

  • Thanks a million for the info and reply!I'll keep an eye out for that book.

  • if he only went through his career as Archie The Stomper, instead of the Mongolian, he would have been a bigger star with his abilities on the mic!

  • Archie put the "H" in hardcore. Funk, Rhodes, Garvin, Race, LeDuc, Fullers, Armstrong etc. Archie has had bloodbaths with all of them.

  • Damm straight bud!!He was the "original outlaw"!!!!
