I just watched Charlie Rose with her and was shocked by her nose. It looks like she had a face lift and they pinned the extra skin to her nose. It's like she has extra nostrils. Wow. So sad that a beautiful woman feels like she can't age gracefully.

I never said she didn't look good. She's a beautifule woman. However, her nose definitely looks drastically different from the nose she has in this video. This was done almost a year ago. Check Google for "Emmylou Harris nose job", and you'll find that I am far from the only one who thinks she's had a little augmentation.

The only reasons I would care if she had a nose job are, 1, She's a beautiful woman (and doesn't need it), 2, It seems out of character for her (she always seems like a sincere artist and person unaffected by the masses or media), and 3, I think a majority of people that get facial surgery look worse afterwards ( unfortunately, Emmylou is one of them). I can understand you condemning me for my comments, but even you perpetuate the whole issue, putting emphasis on looks to insult me. You're cute.

Emmylou went gray in the early 80s before she was even 50, she's not THAT old. And her nose has ALWAYS been thin.

I agree. I'd much rather see a normal older person. Let's be frank, the plastic surgery is awful. What not to do.

If you look at her nose here and long ago film you will see it's the same nose, perhaps the "gloved one" was impressed with it.

@kandy1958: I've video's of EH recorded in 1978 with "The Hotband" and believe me, then she had a very different nose, absolutely another shaped one than on the Vid above !!

I'm sure she's probably had some cosmetic surgery. Not that there's anything wrong with that... but I wouldn't really care either way. Her music is all that matters.
