I didn't enjoy the film Rasputin half as much as I enjoyed Alan himself as Rasputin. He was quite convincing but the plot was rather confusing.

I watched this like...last year i think...it was really good. i'm really glad that he got the Oscar award for this. =) I think he did a great job acting as Rasputin, and it's very hard to act as a person who once lived or someone who is in history.

Ehm I dont where you got this information, but Alan Rickman never won an Oscar. Didn't even got nominated! He won an Golden Globe for this role. Very good role of Rickman though!

I just watched this movie and I really enjoyed Rickman's performance, although I thought it was more about his relationship with the Tsar's family than about Rasputin himself. I wanted to see more about his childhood and his wife and children. But oh well, it was still very good and Rickman was awesome!!!
