  • Bear in mind, the contracts were long in the works before the budget bill was in place, Public unions cannot strike, it was always illegal for them, Collective bargaining has more than 'wages' in it's terms as far as negotiations. I feel the failure comes in place when the partys on the table aren't 'negotiating' And the local government was able to subcontract on many levels, in some cases more expensively than using state workers to accomplish the same goal. Both sides need to be balanced

  • PART I OF Eleven: Even President Franklin Roosevelt, a friend of private-sector unionism, drew a line when it came to government workers: “Meticulous attention,” the president insisted in 1937, “should be paid to the special relations and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the Government….The process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service.” (Continue to Part II)

  • PART II: The reason? F.D.R. believed that “[a] strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to obstruct the operations of government until their demands are satisfied. Such action looking toward the paralysis of government by those who have sworn to support it is unthinkable and intolerable.” Roosevelt was hardly alone in holding these views, even among the champions of organized labor. (Continue to Part III)

  • Part III: Indeed, the first president of the AFL-CIO, George Meany, believed it was “impossible to bargain collectively with the government.” In WI collective bargaining has earned well over $700K in Viagra & workers calling in sick, then coming in that day anyway to work in some other capacity, then collecting over-time pay. (Continue to Part IV)

  • PART IV: It seems that unions get politicians elected and the politicians have no qualms about paying off their supporters by granting them their demands, especially since the politician uses tax payer dollars to do so. Is it ok to bargain from both sides of the table? (Continue to Part V)

  • PART V: What Collective Bargaining Gets You By James Sherk

When someone says, “It’s not about the money,” you know it’s about the money.

Unions in Madison insist that their protests are really about collective bargaining. But collective bargaining is about the money. Collective bargaining gives a public-sector union a monopoly over the government’s workforce. (Continue to Part VI)

  • PART VI: By law the government can employ workers only on the terms negotiated by the union; it cannot hire non-union workers to do the job. That means the government must reach an agreement with the union to get anything done. The voters’ elected representatives do not have the final say. This gives unions enormous power over government budgets, which they use to get more of the budget spent on them: (Continue to Part VII)

  • PART VII● Collective bargaining is the reason taxpayers in Wisconsin cover almost all the cost of government pensions and 94 percent of government workers’ health-care premiums.● Collective bargaining is the reason most Wisconsin school districts buy health coverage from a company created by the Wisconsin Education Association — even though their premiums cost far more than competing carriers. (Continue to Part VIII)

  • PART VIII:● Collective bargaining is the reason Milwaukee Public Schools spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Viagra instead of on educating students.

If unions have the power to force government to hire on their terms, they have the power to press for more tax dollars. Unions might make concessions now, but tomorrow is another day. (Continue to Part IX)

  • PART IX: And if they keep their monopoly, unions may not make even concessions today. Wisconsin union leaders publicly insist they accept Governor Walker’s proposed increases in employee contributions, but it looks like their municipal locals didn’t get the memo — they are locking in contracts that make none of those changes. (Continue to Part X)

  • PART X: If collective-bargaining reform gets taken off the table, unions will go right back to demanding that taxpayers cough up more. Letting government unions keep their monopoly ties the hands of voters’ elected representatives and forces them to spend enough to keep the unions satisfied. (Continue to Part XI)

  • PART XI: Collective bargaining is all about taxpayers’ money. That is what government unions bargain for.— James Sherk is a senior policy analyst in labor economics in the Center for Data Analysis at the Heritage Foundation.

  • people buy crap from china, we cant afford American because of the unions.

  • @teamlowaudio don't blame china for fulfilling a need. after the industrial revolution we stopped creating goods. you know that. US makes porch awnings, chico sticks, and pencils. businessmen have always learned to create profit through free or peanut paying labor. the american benefits by way of steady growth on his stock ownership and an inexpensive kitchen ladle. We're all involved in this treachery.

there we go again, an american, not blaming ourselves...but someone else.

  • Teachers, without your unions, see your wages and benefits shink, shink away! ...and go ahead and tell me that you teach for the martyr status of making a difference for kids as you barely afford to pay the rent and feed your own kids.

  • The United States is a great capitalist country whose capitalists seek communist and dictatorial regimes for the cheap sweat shop labor they provide. Amazing ignorance of working people who fail to see the hideousness of this. The ultimate display of capitalism and the bottom line for labor was slavery in the south. Some appear to believe we must return to 16 hour days with less than the current minimum wage in service to the likes of the KOCH monarchy. Give me liberty or give me death?

  • Unions are the reason China's economy is improving and ours is not. Our local 150 operating engineers need only 2 years of high school completed to make apprentice. 4 years later, they make over $40 per hour. This is a higher wage than a local chemist, teacher, police officer, etc. Thanks unions for your historical impact on worker rights (Not kidding). Not thanking unions for being greedy the past 20 years and ruining manufacturing in our ecountry.

  • @acasti14 So we must be prepared to take the beatings or live in the sewers should we not spend our lives subservient to the non-democratic global corporate governments whose top investors seem to see no limits to what their reward and privilege should be much like the overlords and kings of the old world? The game is rigged and it's not the peasant class that has it rigged.

  • Of course I can't prove it. Then again you can't prove that is NOT the case. That job was going great until the guys i worked with said "you have to vote for him"(direct quote from supervising journeyman) I told him I would not vote for obama due to the reason i stated earlier. 2 weeks later, I was laid off due to "lack of work". If you are in a union, you know as well as i do its all political. Unions, the Military, China, they all "legally" weed out the non-conformists.

  • there should be a constitutinal amendent which states america is a capitalist country and socialism isnt allowed.

  • @lvll138inrs I notice you left out communist. Makes perfect sense too. Non-democratic private global capitalist corporate governments love communist and dictatorial regimes for their cheap sweat shop child labor.

  • I liked my union job just fine, until they let me go for not voting for obammy. Something about being told how to vote didn't set well with me. I'm a veteran who was willing to lay down my life for freedom and i wont have any union telling me how i can vote. I now support the dismantling of all unions.

VOTE FOR YOUR LOCAL UNION BUSTER!!!!!

  • @SomeRandomFeller - Liar. Prove they let you go for not voting Obama and I will prove that if it was true you would have taken them to court and won. Nice try, but you lie.

  • Management can be evil. Unions can be evil too. The worker is a victim to both.

  • Useful to hear the story of a former union buster, but I don't like the melodramatic music and text.

  • Fortunately unions are and will continue to be on the demise. I'll continue to drive foreign cars, shop at non-union businesses, and fly non-union airlines like JetBlue and United Express GoJet whenever possible.

  • @737823 you are a pussy scab

  • @lordbottomtooth Thank you. Funny you replied today since I just flew back home on United Express GoJet airlines and drove my Lexus back from the airport. Cheers.

  • @737823 scab ,its easy to say you drive a lexus. we all know you live in your mothers basement . by the way how is your make belive girlfriend who lives in canada or some other part of the world that is not where you are. WHEN YOU GET PAID AT YOUR SCAB VIDEO STORE JOB , IF YOU GET PAID ,DOES YOUR SCAB BOSS SAY [HERES FIFTY BUCKS, ILL PAY YOU THE REST NEXT WEEK .TAKE IT OF LEAVE IT]. YES I THOUGHT SO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unions just help to prevent slave labor on our soil. If Republicans are against something you can bet your ass its anti-American and will help the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Also ANY commercial general contractor will agree Union tradesman build it right the first time with pride and on time. The non-signatory contractors can barely pass the drug tests or cant speak English?? and both sides bid competitively against each other so it cost the same only Union get Ins. & Pension

  • UAW is a toothless tiger now. Its a shame. The leadership sold out millions of hard working people. Now millions of those jobs are in places like communist china, and other 3rd world nations. The recent ploy to somehow form an international UAW is totally obnoxious. There is no competing with slave labor, and those lost jobs will NEVER come back. If the leadership couldn't secure jobs in the USA, a once free nation, there is no way in hell they will improve the situation in the 3rd world.

  • The videos in this series should be required watching for any union organizer in North America. Employers always stick to the same tactics of smears, fears and tears.

  • I worked for a company in the Early 90's who organised a Union. The companys Lawyer used every tactic at his disposal , From Challenging Ballots to delaying Good Faith Bargaining. The union supporters declared economic and ulp strikes. when all the dust setled, Niether side won . The company went under and the card signers eventually got frustrated with the union. (IRONY) The only person that won in this case was the Labor Lawyer . He got a few Million weathier.

  • Typical union slob; ninety pounds overweight with three chins. No wonder they're all out of work (most permenantly); these overpaid lardasses are finally getting their asses kick out in the streets!

  • so this "former union buster" who says here he did "almost 250 successful campaigns" is now doing what?

he's had his cake and is also eating it (and that's not a comment on his size!)

  • man the USA was built be UNIONS!! i dont get it man i just dont get the busters...RATS!!!

  • This guy is a terrorist to the real working people of America, And Like he admitted he did illegal things to America unions, And Union People, And don't worry brother! hes not long for this life! A god like persons comes along to make and settle debts! they always do.

    A UA Steamfitter,

  • checkout the non union electricians the govt.used to wire over in iraq.a number of our brave soldiers were electrocuted taking showers.they just now hired the IBEW to oversee the work that these shitmerchants did.saving money can & will cost in lives.

  • what is the name of the guy speaking?

  • why bust unions when they will bankrupt their company eventually?

what do you call a workplace that pays for seniority over acheivement? one headed for bankruptcy aka a union place

  • "Unions will do anything to keep the money you work for"

Classic anti-union lies - which, as the anti-union types should understand - do not work so well after being exposed.

  • your afraid of the Employee Free Choice Act.justice to workers.you are a management lackey.

  • Since I don't get to tell my boss how much he has to pay me and get benefits out the wazoo, all on the back of hard working Americans, excuse me for not feeling sympathetic to your cause. Unions are breaking the US. Middleclass can't afford the shittty cars your precious union makes. I will NEVER buy American again because I will not contribute to the UAW. People are gonna stop buying US made and then you will be taking up the - - - like you have been giving it for 30 years.

  • your a fool.you most likly can walk around your house & feel like you are in a 3rd world country.i doubt you ever bought american.I think you are a wallmart shopper.

  • Yeah, well this fool has a job that pays my bills and I don't buy that cheap shit from Walmart or the American auto makers.

Get your head out of the sand and see what the unions are doing to this country. If you didn't work for them you wouldn't be so prejudiced. My brother in law felt like you until he got into the real world. Now he sees the real truth!

  • Well, Marty, if you're so scared then just go crawl back under the boss's desk.

  • I am a member of the IBEW and for the next 4 years we are getting a total of 9$ an hour that we will vote on to figure out where it will go. ( pension plan. annuity or on the check itself) You can get promoted ( Forman, General forman, Or lead foreman in some cases.) for your performance. In Alaska a Journeyman wireman currently makes around 35$ an hour. Myself as a 22 year old fourth year apprentice makes 27 plus change. There is good and bad to everything, but my experiences make me pro union.

  • @bellaree I'd imagine you work hard and 27 per hour is not rich. It's not even a drop in the bucket compared to the CEOs drawing annual compensation packages of 15 million up plus perks like catered meals, limo service, executive health plans and get this, enormous pension packages. The super rich have won the game of monopoly and are closing the lid on the box, not the collective labor. This has happened in history before. Expect stagnation unless the people join in solidarity.

  • @wjksea WJ, I've heard that argument before. However, it doesn't hold water. You show up, do your 8 hours and go home worry free, except when it's contract time. Management works 13+ hour days and constantly worries about the next move to keep the company profitable and viable. You cite CEO pay. That's one guy at the very top of the ladder. Do you presume that what you do and what he does is similar? Maybe you should lead the entire company (a life of 18 hour days with sleepless nights).

  • @bellaree I feel the same way about the teamsters.

  • We need a right to unionize for every job guaranteed in the Constitution.

  • @angel78566

And what jobs would that be?

I don't remember health care unions and such in the constitution.

  • @angel78566 I agree and I am o/o truck driver but never would I scab a strike!

  • over 90% of America has no fucking union

you do not need a union unless you do a job that a monkey could do

if you had skills that were in demand then your wages would increase

same reason why CEOs get paid big money is the same reason why you can't earn a good living picking fruit

unions disaffect their companies by protecting under performing workers

as a responsible man, I do my job well so that I don't need a union to bail me out

    Thievers 436

  • Can't agree. I know about those who slack on the job and get away from it. It's frustrating, but you know. It's more frustrating when your wages are cut, no penalty rates for working overtime, or on weekends No one to back you up if you get injured at work. When your unions are totally gone...then workers can expect to get the same kind of benefits that are hand out at MacDonalds which is zip. Try working for a non-Union outfit. Cheers.

  • your afraid of the Employee Free Choice Act.justice to workers.you are a management lackey.run scared baby.

  • You mean Employee Forced Choice Act.

I have my own automotive shop.

And better a management lackey than a union lackey/thug.

  • Get over yourself idiot. Union are one of the founding pillars of a democracy, the right to freely associate and make decisions as a collective. Would you ban political parties, football clubs. Unions have democratic structures so members can vote in their leaders or vote them out gee that sounds like democracy.

  • "Would you ban political parties"- if they're a threat to America, yes.

"Unions have democratic structures"- if you mean democratic as in the Dumbasscrap party or the East German democratic republic, North Korean democratic republic, Cuban democratic republic, then you're right. Unions have always been pro-communist and anti-American, anti-capitalist, and anti-Christian. They're all commie atheists who hate God.

  • Then I guess you must hate one of the most successful unions of the all. The United states of America. Founded by a collective union of states to pursue liberty and justice for all.

I suggest you move to China one party state no free trade unions. It's your paradise. Pure capitalism unfettered by human rights and pesky democracy or liberty. Bon Voyage

  • Why would I move to a commie country that's filled with atheist, non-Christian gooks?

  • LOL cause you a dumb fk red neck backward thinking dickhead.

  • Better a redneck than some atheist, America-hating, capitalism- hating, Christianity-hating, commie socialist, pot-smoking, hippy libshit fag or fag lover.

  • Your the one that said you hated unions, I didn't realise your racist as well. Hey at least you live in a democracy that allows you to speak your mind. I disagree with your view but I respect your right to express your view. Why do you hate other people right to express their views and want unions and political parties banned. Aren't you just a totalitarian?

  • When those views and parties threaten to undermine America's well-being and security, then damn fucking right they need to be banned.

  • Extremism is an ugly thing.

  • That's a healthy attitude. Intolerance really suits you. Are you a Nazi?

  • The Nazis were ATHEIST LIBERALS. I'm a conservative Christian patriot.

  • Wrong. The terms liberal and conservative date back to the French Revolution against the monarchy. A liberal is someone who wants change and progress. A conservative is someone who wants to keep things the way they are, and ultra-conservatives want to roll back history. Hitler wanted to roll back history to the time before there were Jews in Germany. And Hitler was not an atheist, he was in a cult of a perverse version of Christianity, and everyone in the cult was killed after he took power.

  • How do you find your way home?

  • You retard nazis were Christians hitler was catholic

  • Catholics aren't Christian, dumbass.

  • Yes they are, they believe in god and Jesus even hitler has quotes about being a christian and whos the dumb ass?

  • @shadowalliance.........you are.

and i should add FUCK all "canadian patriots" who sit behind their computers making stupid propaganda videos on YT and posting weakass little letter pictures of guns in support of hamas. i dont see you going over there to fight. lol.....BIG HERO. pick up a REAL gun and go struggle alongside hamas then, bitch, and watch what happens to your cushy soft little computer life in canada. i doubt canada will call you a "patriot". youd be funny if u werent so LAME.

  • Lol look at you commenting on people the posted comments 3 months ago haha. And who sits at home on there computer all the time? you Americans are all the same look who's talking about not fighting.Yes I am a Canadian patriot and like I care what stupid right wing nuts like you think.Yet you call me a pussy yet I drought you would fight for America if the nwo came I bet you would sit at home scared I have my guns all ready

  • @shadowalliancex

WTF is "drought"? maybe you meant "doubt"? fuckin illiterate moron.

    "if the nwo came"? wtf?

oh, so you have your guns ready? i rest my case. you even have guns READY, but youre still sitting on your ass instead of going to fight for hamas, right? RIGHT? thats what i thought. pussy ass bitch. btw, idiot, theres no time limit on comments. i only saw your comment yesterday, thats when i replied....duh. god damn youre dumb.

  • @Thunderlizard2 I'm sorry if your butthurt because you can't handle the truth about fascism being catholic. How about you read a history book for once in your lifetime and find out what franco did? I bet you don't even know who franco was he killed any people who didn't want to be catholic and still to this day the catholic church still thought of him as a great man

  • LMAO@shadowalliancex,

stupid ass, youre the one talking about having his guns ready and posting gay little punctuation gun craft projects on his page and u call me a redneck? i dont own any guns, im not christian or catholic, and who the hell was talking about franco? franco? i was talking about YOU, bitchass, not franco, not RELIGION either. you brought that up. guess your actually in love with what you claim to hate? sick. LOL...epic fail on your part.

  • your hardly conservative with your radical views

  • isnt wanting to ban music and tv stations communism?

  • More like fascism and Orwellianism.

  • Your way of thinking is one of the many things that is wrong with society.

  • you want some fear

your wages won't rise in thirty years

you can't get a raise for performance

you can't get promoted for performance

your union dues go to fund politcal ads that will bring in more union dues from new people

that should scare the shit out of the real people who hold America up

unions only protect the jobs of the worst people in the workplace, but why?

  • I suppose you can supply some research data to support this claim?

  • No. I didn't think so.

  • I work at UPS and the Teamsters have it locked down

My position has not seen a pay raise in over twenty years

There is no such thing as a promotion for any reason

You can get a full time position but the determining factor is if you have the most seniority among all applicants for that position

They take union dues whether I consent or not

They fund campaigns to proliferate unions and consequently increase revenues

    They funded Democrats the most

  • I work at UPS and they have a union there

That union has rules against firing poor employees

The job requires lifting boxes, physical activity

If an employee chooses not to work then the union will protect that person and his work will be done by his coworkers which creates resentment

That employee ends up having the highest cost based on production per hour and the way they disaffect their coworkers

On the other hand, a good employee doesn't need a union because they work

  • A working person who doesn't support their union is a traitor to their trade, their skill and their colleagues. Unions fought for the forty hour week, fought for child labor laws and voting rights for women. Big business has proven their disloyalty by sending work off shore. They don't support American industry, they don't support American workers. They are traitors. Unions are the true patriots to their country and supporters of their country's workers.

  • how much of the US workforce is represented by unions?

  • I just did a quick check. It's currently 12.4% of the work force. During the 50's it was 35%. It would be interesting to check these figures with those in some other countries and also to check out their standard of living.

  • It's been my experience that people join unions because they ARE skilled workers who only want what they are entitled to by law, what they have been promised by their employers, and/or what their contracts say they are entitled to. Many employers do their damndest to deny their employees these basic rights in order to save a few bucks, and no matter how peacefully you try to confront them, they'll bully you. That's why we NEED unions.

  • Union Busters are full of half truths and confusing tactics. So get informed with correct information before you confront one. They don't like people who are informed and educated on the matter. I Know.

  • I know lets go back to the days when the managers made all the money and employees had to work 12 hour days, live in shacks, and were still unable to take care of their families. Oh I forgot we are already there. Managers can banrupt a company, leave millionaires, and the employees have nothing. That why unions started in the first place to protect and make a middle class. The middle class in America is shrinking. Thanks to greedy management and politics.

  • I support union busters. When I hear a store is unionized I shop elsewhere if I can. Unions as a whole make this country less competitive and poorer. Workers have the right to bargain for wages and benefits as we all have the freedom to make contracts. But workers who walk off the job and call it a strike should be replaced immediately.

  • FUCK UNIONS!

  • Good thing I don't kick old guys' asses.I'd be handing you yours in a gift wrapped box.I'm through wasting my time with you - you're a delusional, senile, compulsive liar.Enjoy your "Fantasyland", princess. I'll be enjoying my retirement when I'm your age-thanks to my Union benefits.I don't blame you for hating everything that the Unions provide that you were never willing to work for.Keep at your mail room job.I hope your coworkers don't try to get you to move too quickly-could throw out a hip!

  • Hi IWLocal8

    Go Unions!

    Local 299

  • ROTFLMAO

Anyone who wants to see this delusional guy's "PM", feel free to send a request-I'll be MORE than happy to forward it.

Pops, you wrote to me telling me you had an Ivy League (US) education. If I was rich, I sure wouldn't be working at 61, or, spending as much time as you do on YouTube.

    LMFAO-what a loser!

  • If I'm not correct about your age, it's because you lied. That means you're a liar. Didn't you PM me and say that you had an Ivy League degree? LOL - then you go trashing US schools.

Plain and simple - you're a waste of time. Are you Bob or Doug McKenzie? Take off hoser - go eat your back bacon and don't forget to take your meds.

  • I see you finally figured out how to remove your age from your profile. I'd be embarassed too if I was as old as you are and not have an ounce of wisdom. 61 and whining about Unions - PATHETIC

  • LMAO - just glad that even without government provided health care - I won't be working at your age.

You jealous types are so easy to spot.

Keep it coming gramps, you might actually believe the BS that you write some day. My union's been around over 100 years, and, it'll be around long after I'm gone. (you'll be gone a lot sooner-too bad you haven't actully done anything with your wasted life)

    ROTFLMAO

  • LMFAO

Get a script for some Viagra - it might help you to get some shred of a life!

    LMFAO

  • We have "Boy" and "Girl" Scouts to do what your Dudley Do-right military does.

Just by thinking that Canada is responsible for US security shows how delusional you are.

When you want to lie about a great education, you bring up US Ivy League schools, and, even try to claim that you attended one! LMAO - keep dreaming pops.

You really are a waste of time.

  • "Canadian protection" - LMFAO

You're delusional, but, with you being older than dirt, it's understandable.

The border with Canada is the largest open one in the world. It's because we're trembling with fear at the prospect of seeing our own military equipment invading us with that Maple leaf flag on them!

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • Um, Shania grew up in Michigan idiot....

  • LMFAO - you're quite the "legend" in your own mind! The only thing you've done is show everyone that you can't count.

Another thing - Canada is where the cowards go when they don't want to join the Army - LMAO. Enjoy your fat women and frigid air. Change your Depends, and, get a decent job that won't make you work until you drop dead. (should have gotten a Union job when you were younger-you'd be enjoying life now instead of whining about Union members who can retire at a decent age)

  • Um, I think you've managed to derail the topic yourself BillyJoeJimBob.

The only Canadian worth a shit in it's history (Shania Twain) left to get a place in the Alps. What?! she wasn't from Canada? Well, there goes the only contribution that Canada has ever contributed.Keep dreaming about your Ivy League degree. Go freeze a hockey puck pops - you got nuthin'

  • 16 acre estate -LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

You ARE talking about the North Pole, right?

Please stop PMing me. I don't want to read your claims about your Ivy league education at the same time trash talking the US schools.

Just a bit of irony, wouldn't you say?

LIGHTS OUT - NAPPY NAP TIME!!!

    LMFAO

  • Um, you must not be able to count. Your profile states that you're 65. Is that in "Canadian years"? LMAO

Look up Lend/Lease during WWII.Without it Britain would have been wiped out. Once the US entered the War, it was all over for the Nazis.Get out of Fantasyland gramps. I am surprised you still have enough spunk left to argue. It's a shame you're too ignorant to make any sense. I hear that the US docs are makeing great strides in treating alzheimers. Hopefully it won't be too late to help you.

  • Now you got younger - it shows you're 61. Amazing how you can be what you wish for on the internet!

    LMFAO

  • Off shore labor? LMAO Ever hear of Davis Bacon? If it wasn't for the US, Canada's official language would be German.

You're just jealous that you haven't done shit to be able to retire at age 65 like MOST people. You'll be pushing paper until you drop dead - all because of your stupidity in looking down your nose at Unions. Nobody is as skilled as Union labor - most productive and safest. No way you can start to prove otherwise. Go change your Depends and do something useful.

  • I don't work in a factory you idiot. You just proved my point that you don't know squat about Unions. I'm a foreman for the 5th largest steel erector in the US. The last job we made 158,000 for our employer. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it...

Now take your meds, it's almost nap time.

  • Two old men and BillyJoeJimBob were sitting on a park bench comparing notes on the problems of growing old. The first said he couldn't remember the last time he had a good bowel movement. The second one said his problem was more with his bladder and prostate. BillyJoeJimBob laughed and said he must be the lucky one.

"Every morning at seven I pee, and then at eight I have a good dump," he told them. " I just wish I could wake up before nine."

  • Your senility is showing again, my senile Depends-wearing Canuck. If you don't think I have access to $1000, why would you think I'd have $100,000? Go pop some Viagra and check out the Victoria's Secret vids.

  • LMAO Like I said fossil, put up or shut up.

BillyJoeJimBob, pushing paper isn't "work". When you drop off the face of the Earth, people like you won't be missed. It's the paper pushers that can easily be replaced. I have $1000 just waiting for your dumb ass to try and take it. Instead of talking shit, maybe you should be teaching history - letting all of the kids know what it was like cleaning pterodactyl shit off of the roof.

  • You obviously have no clue about Trades Unions. Market share is back up.

  • $1000 (US) says there's no way in hell you could do my job. Put up or shut up. You'd wet your Depends trying to get on the iron.

  • My Masters is in Computer Science/Information Systems. And no, it isn't a matter of just finding another job. I am apparently too educated for a lot of positions, and the IT field is specific program oriented. It is all experience now, and having to compete against $10/hr. IT techs. Where I am in NY, IBM is about the only IT employer. So, your comments ring hollow and detached from reality.

  • When there aren't any decent paying jobs, you can feed your import to your kids. I'm making more now (with my BA) than most of the people I went to school with.

BillyJoeJimBob - keep talking out of your ass - you don't have a clue.

  • LMAO How about putting your money where your mouth is? No way in hell you could do my job. You must be thinking about the papers you shuffle around and call "work".

  • I have a Masters degree. I was with IBM (non-Union) and got downsized in 2004. You don't know what you are talking about.

  • Can't put a price on experience. Who's going to train the younger worker? We train our apprentices right. It's the only way to keep the best skilled force kicking the non-union workers' asses!

Wow, it's amazing how little you know about productivity. Glad you're not "pro-Union"!

  • oops! I hit the 'thumbs down' by mistake. Sorry! In Solidarity WSA

  • It's America - buy what you want. Whenever possible, I buy US (UNION) made goods. I spend it where I make it.

When you can't feed your kids because all of the good paying jobs are outsourced - they can chew on your import.

  • GEt a life... you probably don't even have a job and you're just complaining about everyone else instead of making an actual contribution

GET TO WORK YOU FREE LOADER

  • You're fear is showing. Labor is stronger than ever and you're trying to spread lies

Go ahead. I'd love to see you do half the work half as well as me and my coworkers

  • Unions keep working people earning enough to keep contributing to the economy. From each according to his ability to each according to his need. MOst managers are completely unnecessary and just serve as dumb frontline guards for their greedy bosses. SOLIDARITY.

Union workers do all the work. Greedy bosses try and take all the credit and money for it. UNIONIZE. UNIONIZE. Save our country from corporate greed and outsourcing.

  • Well, how about you just fire all the monkies and do all their work yourself, Billie Bob. It's pretty obvious that ya'll are the criminal lying fear mongers this video is talking about and you're just keeping up the campaign to "do whatever it takes, however horrific, however illegal to destroy the collective spirit" Greedy stupid.

  • Billyjoejimbob - In ten+ years of being in a Union, I've never once seen a pink slip.

Do some learning before you open your yap and remove all doubt that you don't have any idea what's going on.

  • No nonunion workers could compete with my crew. Bring 'em in from anywhere - we'll show the truth that UNION workers are the best trained, and, most productive.

You wouldn't be enjoying this weekend if not for UNIONS.

  • Union's aren't causing GM, Ford or Chrysler from sinking - MANAGEMENT is! The same managers I work for - you know, the brown nosing, a-skissing type that can't even figure out how to open their mail unless someone does it for them.

Union dead heads... Geez you must be one of the management pukes who can't figure out their finger from toe. Good luck, without unions representing hard working employees, you just have another sinking company.

  • I beg to differ. Im a union pipefitter. We brought minimum wage, 40 hour week, maternity leave, prevailing wage, workers comp., health insurance, and brought america out of the great depression. If you want a united states then you need to unite with people of the same class and stand against big buisnesses who are robbing you blind. Wake up and join. We really care. Dont just make a living...MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

  • Lol...that's what I thought. You spend your time running around the net making up lies to tell. Look, Billie Bob, (I think your name says it all) why don't you spend your time worrying about yourself rather than everyone else...and quit telling lies.

  • Uh-huh. Okay, pal, what's the name of the company, the name of the union, and the date of the vote? We'll just look it up and see if your little story is for real.

  • Thats right bro! Its propaganda.

  • Are attempting to make a point with this suspicious sounding post? Frankly, I just don't believe your story. First, if you were in management and met with the union organizer to bring in a union, you broke the law. EMPLOYEES decide if they want a union, not management.

  • IDIOT IDIOT IDIOT

  • You are an IDIOT

  • Unions are the ONLY protection workers have. United we prosper, divided we beg.

  • Dear Mr Billie-Bob-Smith, you've got to be kidding me! Do you realize that Corperate America is shipping the jobs off shores to save a penny? How is that any one of the great labor organizations fault. Try reading or doing some research instead of just talking out of ignorance. Even you would be suprised at the number of jobs that has stayed in the US due ONLY to the UNION negotiating it.

  • billie bob smith is a plant. he was put here to instigate by corporations. Our best tac is to ignore thehell out of it (him)

  • Here in Los Angeles I see a clear demand from union officials at U.F.C.W that they themselves need union representation. Because of low salaries, poor health care and other deplorable conditions that these reps face. These representative's should now have the opportunity to be represented by the workers they represent. The new union will be staffed by the workers they represent. A small mandatory start up fee of $500.00 accompanied with a $50.00 monthly fee & a $5 life ins. fee will be charged.

  • only losers need a union. Union workers are fat lazy uneducated idiots that need job security. We all have heard some union working peon talk (brag)about watching a machine do all the work. They use terms like scab when they are peons and bottom feeders.

  • Somewhat harshly said but, sadly, true. Competitive workers with marketable skills don't need unions because they are in demand. People who need unions are by definition over paid and under-skilled. They fear competition, as they should, because they are not competitive. So unions try to win through politics what they cannot win honestly in the marketplace. Union members are whiners, very un-American. I seek nonunion businesses where I can and gladly cross a picket line.

  • This turkey neck is a union lackey pretending to be a union buster. If he was making so much $, he'd still be doing it. Don't be fooled by the IBEW's propaganda. I got two words for you 'buster' Jenny Craig.

  • I just so happen to be an international Lead Organizer for one of the Largest Labor organizations in this great country. I fight everyday for the rights of workers just like myself. And I do it LEGALY!! UNION BUSTERS? SCAB? I'LL FIGHT FOR THE FREEDOM TO WORK UNDER CONTRACT!!! Feel free to contact me with any questions!

  • Go to hell you unAmerican asshole. Let me guess, your not only a scab, but an illegal as well.

  • I guess the FACT that unions are hiring illegals is very American to you. Unions know that when someone is scared of being deported, they won't complain or strike. That way the union can collect dues without having to do anything.

  • Unions support immigrants and help them to become legal. You are only as good as your worst member .. that goes for society too

  • You must be in the pocket of the management.

  • I've got more respect for myself than to be in the pocket of management mam.

  • I don't know who to believe. I think they are all scammers...Let's just go to work and do our jobs.

  • You must be working for the busters

  • Workers in the workplace need to take heed. This video should be a wakeup call that companies will go to no lengths to deprive you of union representation.

  • What a SCAB.

  • Martin Levitt, any union buster and any company that hires them are all pieces of SHIT! Do your mothers know what you do? Union YES!

  • that's right sad bud true we have a union buster at my place be strong USW 7-0304

  • Union busting Comcast is not Comcastic.

  • Very interesting.

  • great, tell it like it is!!
