@big61john I think the workers should understand that the service they provide is becoming increasingly superflous. They should have already started looking for other jobs as a lot of them need to be made redundant - which is nobody's fault.
What a ridiculously biased piece of 'journalism' by ITN... Not once did they mention the real concerns about pay cuts, job losses and speed ups that these workers are facing. Instead they spend the whole piece talking about how terrible it is when you don't get your post at Christmas... Its also pretty bad to lose your job or face a wage reduction at Christmas!
These greedy postal workers! i actually hate them now, who the hell do they think they are?..they get enough pay and are lucky to have jobs , there are plenty of different services who deserve higher pay, such as police, hospital workers, but you dont see them going on strike, and thats because they know how important there job is, but these postal workers are careless, how can they do it, espeacially with the recession at the moment...greedy barstards! thanks for making more problems for the uk
