  • I here too many people say these things, It is very sad. Even I have said these things myself. :(

  • where is the sermon?

  • i need to know which music that is!

  • Don't recall who said it, but it bears repeating; "The invisible and the nonexistent bear a strking resemblance to one another."

  • I belive in god becouse once i was with my mom, dad, and sister visiting my mom's home country for a year and my dad and sister were supposed to go home first and then a week later me and my mom go home. The day before they were supposed to leave before I went to bed I prayed to god that I could go with my dad and sister back home. The next day my dad bought an extra ticket and I gott to go home :D

  • I guess no one comments anymore on this

  • What music is that it sounds good?

  • @Mccarthur1 you need to widen your musical palettte dude ..peace

  • @android0011 I am more inclined to the music of the Charleston Plantation Aristocracy, classical, and the sweet sound of gospel music good sir.

  • oh yes, how easy it is to put a blame on Him! He's our Father! When I was little and asked my dad for help, he often would say :" No, you have to learn how to do it", and i knew he was right... and God Has got a plan for each one of us, but just a little bit of sadness in your life and BOOM! you hate God! you better say SORRY to Him, because He deserve it! Don't think you can MAKE HIM do anything for you, He can't be used as a wish pond. Have some respect people!

  • @Kat23Cardiff you dont knopw @#$%#

  • wow this is legit! i feel the same way.. its like what the hell god. why would i ever want to believe in you if things are always going wrong, if nothings ever right, if i can't even feel loved. WTF! why would i EVER turn to god if it feels like he doesn't even give a shit??

  • This video is NONsense.

  • what's that song, melody??

  • thank u for this....it lifted me up....to know i am not alone...or unfaithful to feel like that

  • I don't agree with Rick Warren's comment about wondering why bad things happen to innocent people. None of us are innocent and that's why we experience trials and tribulations. The amazing things is that God is RIGHT THERE just waiting for us to turn to him, hoping we will choose to look to Him with our free will. He will bring us through anything--my life is proof of that.

  • @Renewed58 youe one person out of billions what a ridiculous thing to say you dont understand rick warren comment...@#$#@ingf ridiculous

  • god are disappointed at us

  • fact of the matter is, at many times in your life you'll be disappointed in God, question God, even be downright angry with God. But the bible says....he is everlasting. If all you know is good, what joy is there in that? But knowing good and evil and choosing to do the right thing makes joy possible. Those who question, need to seek out he book of James in the bible. If you have a question about God, go see him and get the answer from him alone. ;)

  • what is the music in the background?

  • I am with kakagirlish on her statment that only God can fill your emptyness. Look at tiger woods he had everything. A career, sucsess, fame, a big house a loving wife and children money. And yet he didnt have IT ALL.

  • This video is a great example why the logical problem of evil is an unsolved issue and poses a serious challenge to those who believe in god...

  • im afraid u r wrong on that issue. it has been solved. Christ died because of our evil that we may be free of it. Whilst it still exists on this earth, there will be a time for those who r saved to be completely free of all that is evil, both internally and externally. it is not a challenge for those who believe. the challenge is remaining faithful to God, even when times r tough

  • That's the contradiction though, that God is perfectly good, all powerful, and all knowing. So he knows about evil, can stop it, and wants to stop it. However, simple observation tells us that he doesn't.

Human free will doesn't get you out of this one, since God created humans knowing what they would do (on account of his infinite knowledge), so by creating humanity he implicitly endorsed any resulting evil.

  • Evil only exists where God's goodness is not present. The only part of God u find near evil is his wrath, which every human being deserves.

We are evil, God is not. Humanity is rebelling against God, therefore we are evil, we deserve to be punished. How does the issue of evil not show how much better God is?

Free will is a blessing from God. Us in our sinful nature however abuse God's blessings. Because God loved us from the start, he made us even though he knew what a mess we would make.

  • @jaridz THen again, isn't wrath a mortal sin? Is God's wrath OK? Does that men that wrath is OK as long as you are angry at someone who deserves it? Is't forgivness better?

'Someone needs to forgive- or people will die' Bjørnstjerene Bjørnson.

  • He does not endorse evil. Whilst he still made us knowing we would slap him in the face, he is not responsible for the evil that we created. If He had eliminated all evil, there would not be one human left standing on this earth. Would u prefer to have never existed/be totally destroyed? Or to have lived at all with the suffering that u now endure, but have the chance to glorify God and the chance of salvation and eternal life that God offers through his mercy and grace?

  • That is one option - perhaps if God really was good he wouldn't have created anything at all.

The alternative option is create humans so they simply aren't inclined to commit evil acts, but I guess that was just too difficult for God to do.

  • haha. God created us for his glory and because he loved us. Reason why he made us for his glory is not cos he is an egotistical prat, but because he deserves glory for he is omnipotent, omniscient and omni present.

And if he made us like that, we would be robots and that wouldnt glorify him. I dont know about u, but i kinda like the blessing of free will. life is just more fun with it, but the more important fact is our free will glorifies him whether we do wrong or right

  • if he created us for his glory that would imply that prior to creation, he lacked something, which would make him imperfect, so that's problematic to begin with.

what i'm claiming is egotistical is sending us to hell for not believing in him. that seems like anything but love.

how is being inclined to do good make you a robot? why is the ability to do evil things so valuable? if something is bad, why would you want the ability to do it, unless you are a bad person?

  • he never lacked anything. he created us because he loved us from the start, and because he deserves glory.

And u can believe in God and still go to hell. It's only if u have accepted Christ as ur saviour can u go to heaven. Not one of us deserves to go to heaven, we all deserve to go to hell because we are all evil.

Yes, i am a bad person. This is why i need Christ so much. I want to do good things, and i can, but at times i choose to do the wrong thing. Thats y grace is so important.

  • he lacked whatever he got from creating us.

nobody deserves to go to hell. even our lowly human justice systems have largely done away with torture, yet the divine justice system (which is supposed to be higher) permits it in large quantities...

i don't think you understood my question - it was "why is free will so important?" why do you WANT do have free will if the only thing you get with free will is the ability to do bad things? why not have free will to do only good things?

  • because then it isnt free will. u didnt listen to me when i said free will glorifies God. if we choose to do evil, we just show how much better he is. If we choose to do good, we glorify Him because we r replicating him in his goodness.

And every1 of us does deserve eternal damnation. there is not one of us who is good enough to enter God's kingdom on his own. That is y Christ died, so that some may be pardoned thru him.

  • @jaridz So then free will doesn't matter, since god is glorified no matter what you do. Based on your characterization of how glorification works, choice isn't relevant.

  • I am with you sniperontheroof123. To me God is nothing more than an imaginary friend.

  • So now doing evil things glorifies god? You have to bite a lot of bullets to say that free will to choose good/evil is a good idea. Again you talk about life being "more fun" with the ability to do evil...would you say that to the victims of genocide - that life is more fun with genocide than not?

  • @sniperontheroof123 well you can blame that on a certain tree fruit adam and eve bit into either way we learned about evil the very hard way

  • @Mccarthur1 The fruit tree that god put in the garden, with full knowledge that adam and even would eat of it. At best that's gross negligence...

  • @sniperontheroof123

wrong. God wants US to choose him by our own will. And if you don't want to exist, you are one of a hundred, because I am grateful that I can live and choose betweeen evil and good by myself. If you don't want to live you can choose Belzebub and join him in the eternal death. I hope you realize what Gods purpose was.

  • God bring people thru to strengthen them and Job got double blessings after God took everything from him... And God is a righteous God, or else we be living in seen if God havent 'abandon' Jesus to die for us!

  • ...i know that some of those phrases are from the bible.. but you need to read and understand the context, too undestand the truth and the real reason why each person said that.

  • I'm not telling you that because it's beautiful to write or to read.. but because i've experienced that.. (God's big love) - and i'm still God's girl.. i will always be. It's a decision I made because i know its worthy and a life is better with God instead of without Him... And you know.. GOD is the only one who can really fill up all the empty holes that you can feel in your heart..

  • you know what.. you need to see God with your eyes wide open, i mean.. see everything that He has to offer to you.. because a life with God is not monotonous or the same everyday... but it's full of surprises, love and satisfaction. It's more than enough :)

  • I think this video is powerful, Justin--and one many people likely relate to--especially in these harder times. I've felt guilty at times for wondering where God was, wondering if He'd left me, etc. This video is an encouraging reminder that I'm not alone--and am indeed in good company!

  • Good video!

But it's like a great/spectacular shot on goal that didn't hit the back of the net...but somehow managed to rebound on the manager!

You'll be lucky to still be on the field...and maybe score!

Take care & God bless! Xx

  • Sweet! Thanks for uploading! I used to be a beleiver and sing to the Yahweh/Jesus combo. I watchd this and it suddenly became clear. Hey , if even Jesus wonders why Himself wont answer him, and Elisha too, then whats the frickkin point. He dosnt actually exist!

Thanks so much. You have released my mind to think for itself and I have become Atheist. I now have a burning urge to eat babies.

  • hahahaha your funny

  • @tommiatkins you will never get its point...

  • @tommiatkins you will never get its point...

  • What is the name of this song?

  • Excellent, as always.

Is it bad that I subscribe to this channel just to behold Justin's video production skills?

    :)

  • I didn't get this vid... looked more like an anti-God vid :/

  • it seems that way but to me its more so even the people we find to be perfect in faith feel abandoned proving we're not alone. everyone feels God has abandoned them at least once and we need to have faith to pull us through.

  • ye, I get your point, but maybe a small note at the end of the vid saying that would of helped :/

  • Sometimes the videos we produce just pose a question for our pastor to respond to during the church service. This is one of those videos

  • I think it is a good video. It started my thoughts churning, and I really recognize a LOT of those quotes from my own life. Yeah, life with God can be really really tough. We need to realize that. It can cost your human life to live with God. And He may seem distant. There are not always easy answers to tough questions. But the answer is still that Jesus loves us and is with us, even in the midst of unbelievable darkness and dread.

  • Lolpatrol!

  • there has to be suffering in this life , specially for christians because this way we hope for the world to come.... where there will be no sorrow , no death, no crying, no pain and every evil thing and imperfect thing will not be there. it will be perfect! so keep your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ unto death. God bless you brother

  • i love your videos!! keep them coming.
