@bystrikadavid Try installing a new ROM, I haven't updated this root method yet with new OTA updates but new ROM will solve all ur problems.

@Angelos....I remember you...lol. just a little info re rooting this method. Root ends up in a strange place. When I used this kernel then flashed a ROM, I had root in two places. I had to dig through my files with root explorer to weed out the remnants from this method. I was soooo happy when we finally had a full stock tar to clean up my system

it looks like i was successful in rooting my s2. i have super user. at start up, i get a "!" in a yellow triangle. how do i get rid of that? and also, under super user you have wifi tether. mine doesn't have that, or any apps for that matter. how do i get it?

I've done everything that you said to do in the video, but when I open up Superuser it doesn't show the same thing yours does; terminal emulator, wireless tether, etc. Mine is just blank... Why is that?

@HybridPineapple yes, but do not use this method it will break your wifi. Use the epic 4g touch auto root at xda website. Much easier, and wifi will work. This one has the kernal that overclokcs, but if you want wifi and tether use the other one. Let me know if you need links.

@stolic2012 Rooting allows free wifi tethering for multiple devices, it removes the spyware & alliws u2 uninstall bs preinstalled apps, which in turn free up memory & speed up the GS2, allows u the install different faster more customizable roms which can increase battery life even more & free up memory as well. I dont hav enough space 2list all the reasons but those few reasons plus several more r reason enough 4 a lot of ppl 2root there GS2 touch.
