Probably be good for mounting on the back of a plate carrier. Say if a team mate/ soldier needed an extra mag , then this is a definite solution concitering u don't have to stop aiming/ firing to pass a mag.
I think we have allmost hit the limits of guns with bullets. Ok its still the best way to hunt our own species, but its still a pain in the ass , noise, heat, ammolimits.
But this looks like its gonna work, ill need my bullets for when the zombies come :)
I can see that getting in the way...and for how much space it takes up...wouldnt it be wiser to just have 2 2mag pouches? takes up less space and has 1 extra mag.
Wouldn't that cause some off balanceness, as all the wight would be on one side the persons hip, and with conventional chest rigs the weight is more even distributed?
I dont like it. First, its mechanical. 2nd, it appears large and awkward. 3rd, what if you want to do a tactical reload, or simply store an empty mag? My preference is normal mag pouches.
I don't see where the problem would be. In the situation this seems designed for, time really matters. You're not going to waste time putting that empty magazine away, and if you did there's more than enough pockets in the new ACUs anyway. And you're never going to do an IDPA "tactical" reload using M16/M4 magazines in a combat situation anyway. If you're going to do that, you might as well just stick that half-loaded mag in your pocket.
Stomach or prone position is just as fast. It simply takes a few minutes to get used to the location, feel, and economy of motion it takes to recover mags from this position.
How many mags fit in there? I thinks it`s worth if you can stack at least 5. If it`s less than that, and adding the posibility the mags will jam or won`t come out when you need them makes it useless.
I missed you guys at the SHOT show this year.I wanted to thank you that this is an awsome system.See you guys soon and good luck brothers.

i think if they could get it to hold 5 to 6 mags the space and size would make it worth while
ndredneck79 8 months ago
its a good idea, ide like too see them build off of it and make somthing a bit smaller and less akward :)

for an only 3 mag cap, it looks pretty cumbersome... is it box shaped? does it curve against the body?
spencer0590 3 years ago 2
Are there any plans to make a non curved version? I can see the advantage of having them mounted on seat backs and such.

@kenpolunchb0x The Idea of the system is indeed to be fast, tho costing that in size. And it does it's job at it. Everything for everyone.

It is recommended to have typical magazine pouches on the other side, which would balance out the weight.

It makes sense, we are talking speed and placement then it is were it has to be.
A shell of kevlar would protect the ammo, other than that, it's ready to go.
You can work that baby sitting down, kneeing, just about any position other than laying on you stomach!

looking at the way it's made, wouldn't it be more practical and easier to use if it were strapped to your leg pointing up?
koreenboi 3 years ago
That would cause a bit more distance from mag extraction to rifle mag-well. Likely be more bulk than desired on a leg for many as well.

Nice vids man keep it up.
Who is this supposed to be marketed to most, leos, soldiers or what?

3 mags. As a side note, none of the testers around the world have had a jam yet.

is it as loud as is sounds on tape? (i know sound sometimes changes with cameras)
blauwepiet 3 years ago
It isn't silent, but camera makes it a little louder since in high sensitivity mode.
milspecmonkey 3 years ago
I'd argue that it doesn't even matter. If you're reloading then chances are pretty high you've recently made some noise.
