at the risk of coming off as completely uninformed, which i am not (although i am probably limiting myself), the only Twombly I am interesting in are his drawings ad paintings. i have no interest in his photographs or sculptures or what have you.
Seeing "Leda and the Swan" at MoMA is one of the most incredible things I've ever experienced.
ps- this guys words and demeanor is what makes some people hate art. he sounds so pretentious and corny.

I came across a news article about a woman being charged for smudging her lipstick on one of his art pieces. Then I saw the estimated value of his art piece and thought, wow his art must be something. Gosh, even a monkey can create something as shitty with a banana on canvas. What has the world come to?!?
First i heard this and thought, wow, she must be really stupid. Then i heard that the painting was BLANK WHITE. How full of yourself do you have to be to buy a blank canvas, sign it, don't even bother to name it, then say it's worth 3 million dollars? Say, how about just replace it with ANOTHER BLANK WHITE PAINTING!!!!??
