  • 1 thing for sure is that OUR SUN CURVES THROUGH SPACE !! then i wonder curves i say ?? why ?? Yes it curves couse it has a orbit when know it through the precession of the equinox !! a orbit around what ?? MASS attract MASS basic physics! HENCE OUR SUN has definitely a binary mass that attracts our sun around it and vice versa ( both are orbital, in diffrent orbital paths/speed/angle etc )!!!! peace out

  • I got a theory that we are in a group of star systems?? 1: Has a periodic orbital time like that guy in the vid suggested (around 24-26.000 years) . 2: Another star that got a orbital path in about 26 million years .. thoose layers found in the earths crust all point on a balanced periodic time scale when these kind of historical mass destcruction events occour... both are destructiv on its own, when our sun makes its perihelium around the binary companion/companion`s star?? peace & love :)

  • @pleiades73 correct, one sirius has a solar mass of approx. 1 and the other is approx. 2 (A,B)

  • @pleiades73 There is some speculation about the sun also having a twin. The theory is that this other star (aptly named 'Nemesis') would currently be so far away that we're unable to observe it. However, once every few hundred million years or so, it closes in on the sun, moving closer to us because of gravity(a egg shaped orbit of a comet) . When this happens, it has a devastating effect on the earth, causing disruptions in our orbit, atmosphere, tides, etc.

  • @geemoney558 Obviously it wouldn't be enough to knock the earth out of its current orbit, or else our planet wouldn't still be here, but it could theoretically cause a mass extinction of most life. In fact, some believe that this is what caused the major extinction events we're discovered to have happened in the earth's history.

  • @pleiades73 how many scientific theories are you toting around as law?

  • @drevenkaine the only part of his statement thats fact is that the solar masses of Sirius A and B are equal to and double that of our own star. Not that we are not in a binary but that sirius is not so small is what he says.

but to him i say, ... mass has nothing to do with size ..... duh

  • Para los creen que Nibiru no existe...ignoramos muchas cosas que pasan verdaderamente a nuestro alrededor...como nos han engañado y nos siguen engañando...

  • Binary stars are so cool.

  • You all might want to check out the Binary Research Institute - they have a webpage and a book but I can't remember the title : add dotorg to the url :

    binaryresearchinstitute

  • Very interesting. I wonder what the chances are that it is true?

  • @MORK455 Err..approx. zero.: )

  • we don't have a binary star system you twits:p or a planet x

  • @fcdog555 you idiot !

  • @superstrain007 suck it

  • I wished you people would make up your minds, i was told it obirited every 3600 years from outside the plane or the ecliptic across our plane and then back outside you guys are telling me it orbits within the plane, another says it can only be seen in the infrared scale and others say we will be able to see it with the naked eye, you guys are so full of shit.

  • Holy shit i need to get layed more... if this happens we are fucked.

  • @Chinkeyface youll be dead soon regardless of anything in the skys...better get to fuckin if thats what you want in life

  • @longfootbuddy o'rly? how so?

  • @Chinkeyface tommarow youre going to be hit by a fuckin bus

  • @longfootbuddy But im a hermit i dont go outside

  • @Chinkeyface watch out for bears then

  • @longfootbuddy wow this mean if I am in the forest I should watch for buses or What? :)

  • @aaalexccc dont stick metal objects in wall outlets

  • i believe it. and i also believe that there is life like ours one one of those planets

  • @LxHxCx661

Holy crap, if our Sun is a Binary Star. Do you people know the implications of this, what if the 2nd star has planets? What is it's orbit, speed, orbital period, is it a red Dwarf - why haven't we found it yet, or perhaps we have?

What if it comes close to any of the inner planets in our Solar system, can you imagine the devastation of that additional gravitational pull, if anything climate & geological anomalies will only increase with time, Japan 8.9 EQs being the latest.

  • Question. Is that planet x?

  • what is the name of this video? i looked around at that site but couldnt find this one.

  • this is so intresting! I LOVE ASTRONOMY! im no nerd though...haha!

  • @ImmaBunnie Nothing wrong with being a nerd. When you're young, "nerd" has a negative stigma attached to it. When you get older, you realize that "nerds" are the truly "cool" people.

  • @kree1964 nerd doesnt mean your smart...it never did...of course words change their meaning requently because of peoples use of them

  • @longfootbuddy I never said it did. I just said nerds are cool. Notice the quotation marks which indicate that the use of these particular words by me, was subjuctive. Nerds are definitely cool though. ;)

  • @kree1964 you were implying that nerds, made fun of in their youth, grow up to be our technical geniuses, thus being cool.. am i mistaken?

  • @longfootbuddy You are mistaken. I never said anything about anyone growing up to be "technical geniuses". I only said it was "cool" to be a "nerd". What YOUR meaning of the word NERD is, is on you. IMHO you needn't be a genius of any sort, to be a "nerd". Nerds can be of average intelligence.

  • @kree1964 or complete dumbfucks

  • @longfootbuddy lol , you have some serious issues my friend...

  • @kree1964 and probably more intelligent than the people who call them nerds lol

  • @jr2nd mkay...

  • @kree1964

    so true :)

  • I've heard about this, and from what I hear NASA is awaiting conformation to declare that we are indeed in a bianary star system.

  • thanks ,graphic video explained it to me

  • as always ty

  • thank you dude

  • There's so much we don't know. Enjoy it :-)

  • wow, great upload man. very interesting.
