Guys, could someone tell me, is it possible to use this headset with on-board sound (for some time) ? I will buy sound card in a future (Creative SB X-Fi HD usb because of headphone amp...).
i have a big question... i have astro mixamp i hav y adaptor i have sennheiser pc 350 now Y IN THE FUCK IS THE Y ADAPTOR AND SENNHEISER HEADSET CORD DIFFERENT SIZES... i am rlly pissed right now someone plz answer me!
Please, say is soundproofing of these headphones good enough to protect from loud TV on a distance of 1 meter? TV is so loud, that sometimes I have headache from it.
The bass on this headset is non-existent! Do yourself a favor and DON'T buy these headphones if you're a music enthusiast as well as a gamer. Sure, this headset is excellent at picking up the mid/high sounds of footsteps, reloads and other "game sounds", but it is terrible at producing quality audio for music/movies.
I am a huge Sennheiser fan, having owned the HD 485s and on-ear headphones for the past decade. But i am disappointed by the PC 350s. My HD 485s are cheaper and superior.
@signupsigma Actually, this is only specific to low quality sound, if I'm playing high quality, it sounds loud and clear. I'm used to them now and I enjoy them.
not very comfortable, if you want to spend a lot of money on headsets get proper sennheiser headphones and a random mic, I returned mine, way too tight on the head and soundproof to the point where you hear your own heartbeat, and voice chat is terrible because you can hear yourself way too well. Press both your palms up against your ears real hard, and then speak, this is what the PC350's are like!
This headset is S@#T the skin on the head set ear muffs begins peeling in weeks if you use them a lot. Pay for the packaging it works like a good storage unit. Other than that, waste of money.
damn i am seriously confused on whether i should get the 350 or 360... i love the idea of folding the ear cups and i like the noise cancelling on these because i like the listen to music and games without other people hearing it.... BUT i like music and games with a good bass PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.
which is better the 350 or 360? i will be using them mostly for music and gaming... i dont care about sound cancelation they need to be very comfurtable and a good base
@jincuteguy Lol, they're two different headset's... Opened and closed, it's all about personal preference. PC 350 is more for the one who don't want any noise interference, as in a LAN or got you're PC right next to you. The PC 360 is a open technology, which let's air in and out. And so you can decently hear trough it. 360 gives a bit clearer sound and so on. But as said, it's all about personal preference...
@McMathias46 Get the 350s, they're quite a bit cheaper, and while people say that they are not that good, that is in comparison to the expensive $300 headsets. If you buy they 350s and are disappointed, google the "hero mod," and if you do that you will not be disappointed.
Do you think the headphones could break from those turning spots, Myles1292? Most headphones, that have all kinds of turning mechanisms, have a bad habit of breaking from those spots because they're made from cheap plastic or something.
You shold overclock your graphics card... Just tweak a few simple settings and you will get a HUGE gaming boost. You will get better graphcis, and faster gameplay!

You should overclock your graphics card. You just need to tweak some simple settings, and you will get a huge boost in the quality, and the speed of your games! Get the guide which tells you how to do it, 100% free, 100% safe from:
@McMathias46 It depends on your usage. If you're at lan parties and such, you'll want the 350 since it has closed earcuffs that block out outside noise. If you just play at home, though, the 360's open airflow designs will sound a little better however you will be able to hear much more outside noise.
@IAreCrazyChris Sennheiser, without a DOUBT. I can talk because I've used both. Took the megalodons back and bought pc-350s... been nearly a year and still use them and am still amazed by the sound quality. Stick with razer mice, not headsets.
@hybridnation LOL ok, fucking retard. I know you can't afford PC-350 so settle with your little razer trash. I would know because I have owned a Carcharias, and it's shit.
@ampdgmr The PC-350's sound is really hollow compared to the Carcharias and other headsets/headphones (ex. Sennheiser HD595/555, Siberia V2, ATH AD700).
The headsets I listed also have a more balanced sound than the PC-350's.
@JeemOfRunescape Logitech mice are sure great ones, I think it's just a matter of taste, in my opinion Roccat has the better drivers and better technology, but Logitech sure makes great gaming mice. Without a doubt.
@Filipbjo What makes you say that a headset from a company that predominantly manufactures gaming peripherals would be better than a headset from a company that has 65 years of experience manufacturing audio equipment? Do tell.
i used to be a huge plantronics fan (and their headsets are still very good quality compared to others), however sennheiser has become my favorite gaming headsets, the PC350 in particular. the PC 350 is very pricey for headset, but Sennheiser tends to be higher end to begin with, and you do get what you pay for, which is to say not only good audio quality but the microphone is excellent, which is what matters most to me. people regularly ask what headset im using, as the quality is incredible
@ricardos640 Hahah, man, let me tell you. None of the Razer, Logitech or any other PC headphones come even close to the cheapest Sennheiser headphones. These are professional HI-FI headphones, not some cheap set on which you will hear bullets fly around you while playing counter strike. Calling these headphones "gaming headset" is as stupid as calling a ferrari enzo an "off-road vehilce".
bought em, very uncomfortable, sound is great, however, for long gaming sessions these are terrible, I returned them, probably gonna go for Razer Carcharias
I bought this Headset on Ebay for 60$ unopened in packaging and I also bought the Y Adapter, because I'm going to be playing this on the 360 with the Astro A40 MixAmp, so I believe.. I might have the best sound quality out at the moment =)
I've got HD595 and PC350, and i must say that HD595 rocks, very clear and soft sound, good positioning, but at price of open design which leaks every sound away..
PC350 is designed for progamers who need very good noise breaking microphone and critical sound precision.
If you're hardcore gamer but you love listening a lot of music, i recommend HD555,595 - these also work at LAN parties, but in this enviroment PC350 are bette
I bought this the other week, but HAD to return them because the sound was so tinny, Either it was faulty, or my Head was too small for it :S Cause it only sounded somewhat normal when I pushed the cups into my ears as tight as possable with my hands haha.
Im tempted to try and buy another pair just to see if they were faulty, cause I really wanted to get this headset and have it be good for me haha !
Guys, i bought the PC350 about a year ago, compared to the HD555 or any other "music" headphones they suck. They are not that great for gaming as i expected them to be. If you need good closed-back gaming headphones i really recommend Ultrasone's stuff. (Or Alienware's Ozma which are Ultrasone's headphones with a different name and color...)
@poolchamp15 oh, sry, what i meant was that just because a headset is labeled as "gaming" doesn't make it better than a none-gaming headphones for gaming purposes.
I've had these since they were released, I did find something interesting, if u put your finger on the bottom part of the left or right cup, underneath there is a little opening allowing some channel of air to get through, so sweatiness is a minor problem on my side.
Garbage? You don't know what your talking about. I've tried them both on, the new razer megladon feels better on the ears/head, has deeper lows, and much more comfortable for long listening sessions than the 350's. I dont care how much a headset costs.... The #1 question is "DOES IT GAME?".
im ditching razer it's the second time im returning a razer headset first is the carcharias and now the megalodon is on repairs i hope we can refund and i'll buy this headset.
@SaBu76 I bought the phones a couple of weeks ago and i did find them a little tight, so i clamped them over my pc case which helped age/stretch them and now their good. a great headset and amazing mic but they are so closed, it feels like your ears are congested with a head cold, especially when you talk. as far as comfort and type of sound i still prefer my sennheiser rs130's.
cant wait to get these. have tried out several sennheiser products, mainly the hd600's and one of the usb headsets. they are an audio company, which means this is what they do! dont buy headphones from a gaming company, buy your mouse from them. this company makes great sounding speakers, and you can tell just by looking at the cables the build quality is exceptional.
To all who are wondering wether to get these or not, GET THEM. They are simply stunning. They are extremely comfertable, and the soundquality of the headphones and mic, is just near the perfect sound experience!
So guys, should I get these or just get an audiophile pair of sennheisers and get a mic with it? And how do I know my old sound card will work well with these, there are no suggestions on the sennheiser page?
This is apples and oranges, man. This one's designed for some high quality stereo sound and is preferred for most games and really the only way to go for music and regular TV. It also uses a standard 3.5mm jack so you get more flexibility. The G35 is built around surround sound at all cost, which is useful for FPSs + movies but not really worth the drop in sound quality for anything else. The USB connector also makes it pretty useless in stuff other than your PC. Depends on what you want to do.
@Maljanus The 360 G4ME's are expensive so get the 350's.

The PC360 might really be an HD555 with a mic.
FirsToStrike 1 year ago
@FirsToStrike pc 350 is just a game mod headset,
you dont need the low sound with gaming,
but actually there all the same, just some little mod and changing :)

@starbase18 Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind before I make a purchase.

cant wait to get these. have tried out several sennheiser products, mainly the hd600's and one of the usb headsets. they are an audio company, which means this is what they do! dont buy headphones from a gaming company, buy your mouse from them. this company makes great sounding speakers, and you can tell just by looking at the cables the build quality is exceptional.

can u hear yourself talk a little through the mic so u dont get that clogged ear felling? PLZ REPLY!
xxTechxxx 2 years ago
@xxTechxxx thats a setting you have to configure by your soundcard/driver, the headphones got nothing to do with it.
skyjumpy 2 years ago
i was really talking about mixing it with the astro mix amp but if u dont know that cool

To all who are wondering wether to get these or not, GET THEM. They are simply stunning. They are extremely comfertable, and the soundquality of the headphones and mic, is just near the perfect sound experience!

g35 160$
pc350's for 300$
and from what ive been reading they are as good as g35 just one offers surround sound and the other offers better quality soud but stereo
giberish1986 2 years ago
@giberish1986 stay away from the g35 at least at this time most have a manufacturing defect that causes a high pitched sound in the left earmuff

The Logitech G35 isn't good for music only gaming which is bullshit.
cyrax1311 2 years ago
i had to take my G36 back because of weird glitches. i did like them for gaming but when the problems started to happen it was very annoying

So guys, should I get these or just get an audiophile pair of sennheisers and get a mic with it? And how do I know my old sound card will work well with these, there are no suggestions on the sennheiser page?
modeSeven 2 years ago
yo guys im gettting soon 1 of these headsets, but witch one is better, logitech g35 or the sennheiser pc 350 some1 advise me about it ty.
serc0 2 years ago
This is apples and oranges, man. This one's designed for some high quality stereo sound and is preferred for most games and really the only way to go for music and regular TV. It also uses a standard 3.5mm jack so you get more flexibility. The G35 is built around surround sound at all cost, which is useful for FPSs + movies but not really worth the drop in sound quality for anything else. The USB connector also makes it pretty useless in stuff other than your PC. Depends on what you want to do.
