thanks for ur rply i will try it soon. plz post some ice cream recipes tht turn to soft tendency.........i always try to make ice creams at hm but they are not as soft as i get from market.........i blend then aftr 2-3 hrs. still nt tht soft...........n let these recipes be vegetarian eggless
@soniagarg1585 : We do have Kulfi and Mango Ice-Cream videos on our website. Please do check them out. You can do a search for them on our YouTube Channel or on our website.
If you can't find white peas, you can try only dried green peas. Using chickpeas will give you a completely different texture and flavor (it would be chole).
heyy...great recipe..tried it out yesterday & it turned out amazing...my husband who does not like ragda pattice too much..could not stop praising the ragda...thanks!!
You guys are cute, and its good to see you guys having fun while doing it.
I remember as a kid going to Bombay and my mom LOVED ragda patties. Only thing that comes close to it are Pani puri (bombay) or jhal muri (Calcutta) or chops / cutlets (Calcutta).
The food is delicious, but I can't help reflecting on the low nutritional value of such foods. A typical meal for me has always had a huge hunk of lean meat and fresh veggies.
They are common terms used in several regions in India, but we're not sure if they are used in the Tamil dictionary. Maybe some of our Tamil viewers can elaborate...
@marif8 : The vattanna has a very different texture and flavor compared to chick peas. You want the dish to have gravy...so chick peas are not a good substitute :(
@TheDino2714 yes, I have seen it on the menu of a couple of places. I tried it, ?& personally prefer Pattice. But that does not mean that samosa chaat is not good. Hey, it's food...eat it the way YOU enjoy it....have fun
@TheDino2714 Great...have fun...I used to live in Mumbai too, about 40 years ago...love the street food there, especially the pav-bhaji, baiza-pav & usal. Enjoy samosa chaat
I had never heard of this, but it looks delicious! I think you should always taste your food at the end of your videos! Thanks, and keep up the fun and the good work. (^___^)
aw this was a fun video to watch. looks like you two were really having fun today, haha. i love chat patta food, so this is definitely on my to do list!

@duyus : They look similar but they are not. They are known as White Vatana or Whole Dried White Peas.

mouth watering :)

If you sprinkle lil Chaat masala just before serving, that gives unique tangy taste to all chaat items.

ShowMeTheCurry 1 year ago
@ShowMeTheCurry : Most likely not Tamil dish. The tamil name for "vattana" is "pattani". Sounds similar.. So could be of common origin
