My friends get praise each time they approach small Afghan town and village.

I have done my own research and from a lot more reputable sources than the common media. (ex. amnesty international, rawa, the bbc) although I guess the bbc is pretty common.

I have come to the conclusion that the mission in Afghanistan is not helping the Afghani people and is primarily serving the interests of big businesses and the gov't in their quest for oil. I can respect that you have a different view of the mission and I don't expect anything I say will change your mind or that you could say anything that would change my mind.

Also, I find it hard to believe that the Afghan war is about oil. It's about promoting democracy with the request of a nation. Stephane Dion and Jack Layton have NEVER been to Afghanistan to see any of the results. Instead, they just condemn the mission without witnessing the truths to the matter. It's all just a political game to them. I've never condoned violence in any instigated fashion (except for defence in the face of an extreme enemy), but if the Afghan people are continuing to call us for help, the best thing we can do is help them.

I respect what you said, but Amnesty International is an anti-war organization. Amnesty will never say anything positive about war (of any kind) since it's against their ideals and goals. The only credible source you can ever have is people who have been to Afghanistan and witnessed the events unfold (e.g. genuine field journalists; soldiers; humanitarian aid workers).

In Canada, Police are not required to give a badge number by any law to anyone. they identify themselves to the person they are "arresting" by name and rank. Spectators who are not involved require NO information AT ALL. The spectators in this video are morons.....
