I heard Golden Hammers can't be used on Boss Battle Challenges outside of the PAL version. I'll never use a Golden Hammer no matter what, though. What would the point of the challenge be, then?

@Breludicolo I've seen runs with Charizard, and people commonly recommend him or Fox. I've tried this with both and failed miserably. So I just stuck to Lucas and Ness, the characters I knew best, and I eventually did it with Lucas.

I have a question for you, it's kind of weird but my best is ness, I can beat Intense Boss Battles, 3 Lv 9's and alot more stuff.

People say ness is one of the top 10 worst cariters, do you think I should stop being him or just be my self, Pollur the Ness master?

@Pollurrtopie If I may, you shouldn't put too much stock into what others say about characters. You said that Ness was your best, and if that is true, then stick with him as you will have the greatest success rate. Just because a group of players isn't good with a character doesn't mean the same applies to all. However, try not to limit yourself. And if Ness is truly a bad character (which I cannot begin to fathom) then the more power to you for using him and performing well.

That was a great run. Some close calls too... Judging by the huge shieldstun from the perfect shield at 11:30, that attack would have probably done you in.

@nin10doadict Yeah, that weird sparkling blast attack Tabuu does is the one I'm least sure of how to defend against. Well, between that and the whip, which I was lucky he never bothered to try after the beginning of the battle.

@Dzzy123 You get the Tabuu trophy by throwing a Trophy Stand at him. I don't know how many trophies I don't yet have.

Great going. I see I'm not the only one that hasn't gotten the "all stickers" trophy though. I've done everything and never got the last three or four.

Seems Tabuu didn't do the "Off Waves" as much in this particular match. When I took this challenge on, he spammed it.

You made this look really easy, I wish I could play but I'm at college, not at home. I always have trouble with Galleom and Duon, and sometimes Porky and Rayquaza, and I've never even gotten to Tabuu :(

@michkid251 I've heard from others that those four bosses are the biggest problems. Which one is the biggest problem depends on the player, but between them and Tabuu, it's always one of them.

Of course, the kicker to all this is that Tabuu is honestly one of the easiest bosses. He telegraphs all of his attacks fairly well, and so long as he doesn't spam teleport you can hit him with relative ease. Beyond the EXPLODING teleport and the clone attack (neither used in this video), he's not too dangerous assuming you keep your head about you.

@snowyarticuno I have trouble dodging the whip, the brackets, and the sparkling blast attacks though. I also got caught in the Off Waves twice before I did this.

This damn challenge. I remeber spending well weeks on this thing. I used Fox: High damage over a short amount of time, reflector works wonders on most bosses, and he has a heavy fall speed and a high speed run. The blaster is also nice for distances.

iirc, the trick (aside from learning the bosses) was to get Porky, Rayquaza and I think one of the ridley within the first 5 before the upgrade. They were by far the hardest, and Rayquaza resisted the blaster/had tons of HP

no offense, but if you want to see a real good player you should check out ssbm4ever 's channel! he completed the boss battle mode on intense with everyone without taking damage! he either got a lot of world records on his name.

@sponsi1000 I looked through those, but every time he did it I saw him doing it on Easy mode and didn't see any videos of him doing it on Intense. Especially the World Record ones, those were on Easy.

If I remember correctly, the small blasts Meta Ridley fires can also be absorbed.

1.) It would have been so much cooler if they had alll the proper boss battle toons for these battles (I mean the songs from the games the bosses are from i.e. battling Porky with Master Porky Boss battle music)

@SirBanana1992 Presumably, they were made out of Dark Bugs, like Duon. Dark Bugs explode upon defeat. However, Duon simply bleeds Dark Bugs and shrinks because they're scattering rather than dying.

@Overhazard well as far as i remember dark bugs didn't take control of Rayquaza or even regular ridley. So how comes even those two (and probably pirahna plant too) have to explode when you kill them!

the closest i went to beating boss battle on intense was on tabuu with Lucario. I JUST NEED to have a counter attack character with me! one that doesnt just reflect projectiles. I would try some more to do this but i can't be bothered by now.

Awesome job on beating these bosses on intense. The hardest one for me was definitely Galleom who gave me the most trouble (that gosh darn "falling attack" gets me every time, especially when he has boosted speed.) A close second would be Rayquaza, mainly due to the fact that the characters I use don't have reflectors or counters (I usually use Wario or Luigi, due to them being my favorite nintendo characters.)

Now THAT was truly amazing! That Boss Battles Intense Mode was a PAIN.

When I did this, Yoshi was the one I used. I just got done with it yesterday and I was so relieved that it was finally over. But the top three bosses that make me nervous going through that are:

1. Definitely Tabuu because of the 3 red shock waves he puts out. I was instantly gone if anyone of those touch me.

2. Galleom because of the speed and massive damage he has later on.

3. Rayquaza for the same reason as Galleom.

Considering it took you 3 years to beat this on Intense and I have had the game for 2 months and can't beat hard(haven't had time to try it a 2nd time), I'm never gonna get that trophy!

On another comment, awesome boss run! I have beaten Boss Battles on Very Hard, but i still haven't beaten it on Intense... Tabuu is nearly impossible! :(

Nice job I find duon as my biggest problem I usually get my shield broken and get ko'd. I find meta ridley the easiest because his attacks are easy to predict and dodge.

@AaronWebber9 Duon doesn't give me much trouble as Ness or Lucas as I just pull up the PSI Magnet wheneverDuon tries to shoot the pink lasers. (The blue lasers don't get absorbed though.)
