When Half-Life came out it was the most engrossing, immersive thing ever. Games before Half-Life just didn't have that level of quality where you really felt like you are in it.

And yeah I was fucking ADDICTED to Half-Life, and basically every Valve game, they're fuckin awesome and still are.
