I have an added suggestion and solution... Water + Heat + Light + Electricity will be better if they all combined.
Water for everyday use... cause it's clean (though it's hot and doesn't need an airpot if we need hot coffee), Light for conversion to electricity, Heat for combustion and electricity (for back-up) when there's no light outside, I mean when it's rainy day or when it's night time.
It's really retarded. Why are people so brainwashed by gasoline when we have all the resources we need! We have the wind and the sun! Then in D.C., they have water powered cars. That isn't a very smart alternative but it doesn't make pollution.
And if steam is the only discharge from the car, that means more water vapor will accumulate in the atmosphere and there will be more rainfall.
The slow advent of cheaper, more environmentally friendly fuels has been mostly delayed due to lack of funding in the research. With the recent gas prices, more and more people with the money to do something about it have been funding it, and there's finally some tangible progress. The idea of having celebrities test drive the new models is very common; there are several right now with some new prototypes out in California.
while it's true that corporate entities interested in keeping their companies competitive buy out patents that could potentially change the world for the better, in the instance of the hydrogen engine, the technology was abandoned because it was grossly inefficient, and non-practical (converting hydrogen from water through electrolysis is energy lost, even more ironically when the electricity used to convert is generated from coal/gas powerplants)
I agree, and the people that are commenting on the fact that it's a conspiracy don't know much about this issue. They just see this and say, OH THOSE CORPORATE PIGS. In reality, have those poeple ever thought about what that solar energy could be more efficiently used for: like homes, or schools?
omg... i wonder... if they did that 2 every car since then... would i have more mony 2 pay bills or spend on things that i like instead of havin 2 spend so much on gas? v.v sad sad~
WHOA you can't be serious?! The technology is that old but its been burried?! Its a conspiracy! Thanks for the post, too bad they don't keep the hydrogen in the explosive gas form, it would be fun to watch car pile ups on the highway LMAO jk
Alright Jack! I had no idea he was into that, way to go man! I wonder if he gave up on it or what happened.

The woe! The agony! More water vapor = more rain?!?! OUR LIVES WILL BE OVER FOR GOOD!

at least it will be clean rain instead of acid rain.

omg, you didn't just make a referrence that steam might be damaging like gas powered engine emissions...
Ok, Sarcasm time:
Wait, more rainfall might, just maybe end droughts in certain places... We wouldnt want that!! OMG NOBODY BOIL WATER!!!
Sorry I couldnt resist, sad that some people just gotta find something wrong with everything, we should think before we type...

I hadn't said t in a bad way. I was praising it and saying that we need the rainfall. sorry i didn't make my comment more understandable.

So is there any real reason we're still using gasoline that pollutes our atmosphere?
ChimoBaka 3 years ago 4
Yes, the reason is greed, of the petroleum industry that is.
