@zselaph Actually, like most of Joan's songs (or at least most of her singles), it's a cover. The song was originally recorded by Sweet, although it was written for them by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, who wrote and produced a lot of hits for various pop/glam groups in the 70's and 80's.

@TheEcho134 No the band was called The Sweet. Look it up before you go criticizing me. The also did "Little Willie", Wig Wam Bam", "Ballroom Blitz" "fox On The Run", and "Love Is Like Oxygen". Perhaps much like Beatles or Stones, the "The" part has been dropped over the years, but the band was in fact called "The Sweet"..Why not go to their official page. Or even check Wikipedia. You will see BOTH names used. d'uh.

Which I suggest before you go around criticizing people. As I said before, and I say again,BOTH were used. The Sweet and Sweet are in fact the same band.
