  • I miss this guy. I wish he had eaten red meat; he would have lived to be a 100.

  • 90, brown hair. LOL what a genius

  • Love watching Jack... He was so real and inspiring.

  • LOVE him!!!

  • HAHAHA I like how he acts like a stereotypical 'old' person at the start of the video then suddenly bursts to life!

  • Those two retarded interviewers didn't even Jack seriously. Jack's more of a man that both of them will ever be combined.

  • myFOXdfw...must be a Dallas TV station

  • these interviewers are useless.

  • I cracked up when he did the sad old man voice at the begining! And yes, these interviewers need to shut the fuck up.

  • 94? really? Jack looks 70 here

  • Is this an inescapable pattern? All of these interview videos with Jack include obnoxious, attention-seeking drones for anchors. Just let the guy talk, already!!!! The man was a genius, and his words are golden!

  • What is ironic is that Jack Lanne excercised everyday and lived to be 96-while George Burns smoked cigars everyday and lived to be 100-

  • @curtisjones400 spelled name wrong Jack Lalanne

  • @curtisjones400 you're really comparing the 2? 1st of all you don't inhale cigar smoke, so the impact isn't as extreme as cigarettes. 2nd of all, i'm 100% certain Jack lived a healthier, more energetic, more active ailment-free life than Burns, in its totality. he didn't make many mistakes, but i think 1 of LaLanne's biggest mistakes was emphasizing old-age over well-being. look at his life as a whole and then compare it to others in terms of health, fitness, wellness, activity, and happiness.

  • Such wisdom!! thanks for posting! He speaks from experience and his example is great inspiration for us all!!

  • douchebag reporters..

  • i wish these guys would shut up, i want to hear jack talk lol

  • these peopel interviewing him take away from him so much

  • RIP Jack Lalanne...I miss ya. :(

  • LMAOOO BOY.

  • He's full of golden nuggets of info. Nice guy.

  • Yeah, the two guys interviewing seem like dick-heads. They seem to think they have some huge background knowledge about him, they cut him off and seem like smartasses bah-

  • i will miss him...he's a great man

  • he looks younger than a 50 year old and in 2008 he was like 90

  • I wish Jack was immortal..

  • @FliPf13 He is immortal through his wisdom he will never die sure maybe his body is no longer with us but I believe his essence is infinite that kinda energy can never really die it was to powerful thats why it will always be here. Jack Rest in Power.

  • Goes to show you even the most healthiest man had to face death! :(

  • jack was in better condition than those two

  • JACK COME BACK!!!!!!

  • Wow, Jack LaLanne is in better shape than most young people. He's right! You're never too old to take care of yourself and be active. I read this article and it really inspired me to get up and work out! nymag.com/daily/intel/2011/01/jack_lalanne_will_shame_you_wi.html

  • Great guy! I would say R.I.P but he's most probably up there

    doing pressups!!

  • @LeventNimet wtf are pressups?

  • @cast390 You're right, the fact that there was no space between

"press" and "up" must have been mighty confusing for you.

    Never mind!

  • this vid is from KDFW TV Fox 4 in Dallas/Ft. Worth TX, i live in the north Texas TV market, and i know who the guy Jack is being interviewed by, that's Tim Ryan, he's the co-anchor of Good Day Dallas, KDFW's morning newscast. and the other guy is Dan Godwin, who fills in on Good Day Dallas when the one of the normal co-anchor is not there. anyway RIP Jack LaLanne.

  • If this isnt an incentive to exercise and eat healthily then I dont know what is..The old guys still sharp as a knife at 94

  • "I'ma ..nin nin ninety-four years old.. ..HOW YA DOIN!?" I love that!

  • Rest in Peace, Jack... You continue to be an inspiration!*

  • RIP

  • HOW YA DOIN!

  • We will miss you!

  • Jack sure knew how to sell. He's totally showing up both those plastic media talking bobble heads there. This is a great example on what being REAL looks like on tv.what he mentioned about the dumbbell was something I didn't even know. Always teaching.

  • R.I.P Jack LaLane, Jan. 23... we will miss you!! God bless your precious soul!

  • I will miss him,he lived a good life.

  • lol @ how awkward the hosts are. RIP Jack.

  • dumbass show hosts

  • R I P MR LALANNE

  • RIP Sir

  • i like his sense of humor and the attitude.. RIP at 96 Sir Jack.. Thanks for the motivation

  • RIP Jack 1914-2011.

  • I just loved that sense of humor & I loved this guy! The way he pretended to be a feeble little old man @ the beginning, but then the REAL Jack emerges!! Ha ha! I think we should have an official Jack LaLanne fitness Day in America, in his honor, where all Americans get off our BUTTS and exercise!! R.I.P. Mr. Jack LaLanne (Sep. 26, 1914 - Jan. 23, 2011). You spunkiness will be missed on this planet.

  • What a roll model for every one. He really was a maverick of fitness.

  • RIP Jack, thank you for juicing your way to 96 years of healthy living.

  • I was at a smoothie place next to the gym the day before Jack died and looked at the wall of many autographed body builders while there. An 20 inch black and white autographed posing photo of Jack was on the wall and I looked at it for a while and was amazed he was still around; and then tonight, I saw the new alert on cable news a moment ago that he was gone..... by jack....

  • They just reported Jack passed away at age 96 today. RIP Jack

  • Jack you are my hero!!! You're awesome.

  • I cant stand people that interview Jack they need to shut the fuck up and just listen

  • @epidemic2006 Couldn't agree more.

  • @epidemic2006

Well what do you excpet from Fox?^^

  • @000Mariat000 I keep replaying the way he first says he's 94 year old in that old man tone. haha, I didn't know it was a joke voice at first. Then he says it with all youth and power. haha dam increadible

  • Oops, I misread that. You're right!

  • @epidemic2006 i knooww!! theyre talking over him and thinking that whatever hes saying isnt important. GOSSSH!!! he prolly knew more than THEM!. it seems liek they secretly want to laugh at him. douche bags! ughh

  • @epidemic2006 Agreed!!!!!

  • @epidemic2006 I was just thinking that while watching the today show interview!!!!! JUST LISTEN!

  • what a hero

  • This Young Man is absolutely amazing!!!

  • Damn, he had me going at the beginning there...

  • where did they find these two jokers interviewing him?

Jack had a great point about lifting with the dumbbells to avoid misalignment and all that the news anchor had to say about it was "YES, SYMMETRY!"...lol

  • Have nothing but intense admiration for this man. The reporters pissed me off though, interrupting is disrespectful.

  • he is beyonddd adhd!

  • Jack is great. But these two idiots interupting him should be burned alive. I can't stand news people. They're all fools. Just look at them.

  • My Hero!

  • Had more people listened to Jack in the decades past, we would not be faced with the health care funding problems we have today.

Medical Doctors focus upon treatment, and treatment is expensive.

Jack's focus was on preservation and prevention, and prevention costs a fraction of what treatment costs!!

  • Hell yea Jack...you GET EM! You tell those old people and younger crowds to take care of their bodies.

  • WTF was that sound at 1:44? Did that news anchor have an orgasm?

  • Jack Lalanne personifies what we all should be like at all stages in life. He understood years ago and still does, what it takes to get and remain healthy. Thanks Jack for sharing your knowledge, Doc Livingston

  • Jack must be sad, after so many years of his hard work, America is the most obese nation in the world.... pathetic on our parts, and yet we produce men like him every so often

  • @MrSunnydisposition He also could have made one billion dollars with his own line of excersise equipment, but he wasn't interested. He just wanted to make other people feel better. What a guy.

  • Holy shit he is good for his age!

  • @TrancedNRG extremely good 95 age people are on wellchair forget the Stick lol this guys is doing Dumbells lol

  • Jack Lalanne isn't the brother of Chuck Norris, nor is he the father of Chuck Norris. He is the role model of Chuck Norris.

  • @PalerLaze Jack Lalanne is to Huck Norris what Big Boss is to Solid Snake.

  • Note: Rest is essentual to recovery but of course don't be lazy!

  • i love his fitness quotes!!!!

  • Lmao this guy is THE fuckin MAN. Wow I can only hope to age that well.

  • LOL I watched 5 videos and this guy became my idol! /bow

  • FUCK CHUCK NORRIS...damn hill billies proud of a fake. Chuck Norris is retarded and a fake...

  • Unfortunately Julan Like Mr. Jack La Lane Mr. Norris is the real deal. Mr. Norris made his reputation in the early years of martial arts and in his day few people often called the blood and guts age of Martial arts few could stand in the ring with him. He really was quite good. Of course in this world often we don't understand the difference between illusion and reality.

For me I will respect the real deals like Mr. Norris and Mr. La Lane you can enjoy what ever fantasy makes you happy.

  • @sratzker

I like to accept the notion that Chuck Norris has always been over-rated. I loved when Bruce Lee knocked the fuck out of him...Chuck Norris is as fake as World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment.

  • jack lalanne > chuck norris

  • happy birthday for tomorrow jack :)

  • Bravo old man...!

  • wtf lol he looks about 75

  • @GordonMorrice

  • @GordonMorrice Well said :)

  • @sjaf3 Thanks dude. :)

  • @GordonMorrice Define the lifespan of the solar system.

  • @GordonMorrice

How does a lifespan of under 120 years equate to a weak DNA? I disagree with you my friend. The information contained in our DNA is what enables the human brain to develop. More powerful than any super-computer, the human brain may possibly be the catalyst for the conscious evolution of our entire species. Over the last 100 years this same brain has engineered medicines and devised technology to extend the human lifespan by about 30 years. Meaning someone born this year could

  • @GordonMorrice

Expect to live 30 more years than someone born in 1900. Your DNA is what has given you the ability to even conjure up the thought of you having a "weak" DNA. And of course compared to the solar system it'll seem like a short life. But it's all relative, watch. You, reader, will live for an immense amount of time when you compare your lifespan to that of a copper butterfly, which only lives about 2-4 days. I agree with the rest of your post though ;).

  • lol i didnt realise 5 = 4

  • the hosts are asswipes they just keep going like they don't even want to let him talk they're just like uh huh kk idc on to the next question

  • What is up with people acting like Chuck Norris is so amazing? He is only a kickboxer who was pretty good.

  • Man... You can have your Chuck Norris.. Come back at me with all your jokes and stuff... But Jack LaLanne is the real deal.

  • ..I want to be like him

  • @JoeBird76 We should respect Jack L.How can you not? and yes those 2 idiots sitting across from him are clowns!!!

  • Amazing! He gets out of that chair so easily, and he bends his knees and squats down effortlessly. It's easy to forget that he's 95 years of age.

  • This man is amazing. I'm just speechless. These news reporters here are so lame they make me want to throw up sometimes because of their lack of motivation, self knowledge, common sense, etc. All and all Jack Lalanne is a grounded, strong and remarkable genius of physical fitness, nutrition, and anti aging. The true ALPHA MAN!!

  • Respect.

  • Does anyone else want to smack these guys who are still treating him like an old man? ooh he almost said 'ass' lol... these guys were going to die

  • @QuietRain Jack will out-live those sorry ass hosts. They're what we call DWG (dumb white guys)

  • Didn't he coin the phrase "Younger women, older whiskey"?

  • hero

  • He's 95, and he looks fucking 60.

  • You wish Squanto

  • I watched him when I was a baby.

I could kick his ass now.

  • @squanto2 - Sorry, my money's on Jack! LOL

  • His older brother lived to 97, so genetics DOES play a part!

  • Didn't his Dad die of a heart attack in his fifties?

  • Comment removed

  • inspiration to all. What a hero.

  • My hero

  • He's in better shape than those two guys who were just getting ready to talk to a doddery old fella and got a surprise.

  • Man likes unilateral exercises. Nice. :)

Though I gotta disagree with his stance (har-har) on stiff-legged deadlift - it'll only damage your back if you do it wrong, or train ego over sense.

Lastly - guy's DAMN impressive - reading about his feats of strength, every 10 years he redid something he did before, only with more weight or swimming longer. Incredible.

But do remember, the man has genetics better than 99.999999% of the people who walk this earth. He did his part, but he's gifted.

  • That genetics argument is so overrated.

The man has changed his genetics. Read about his story of what he was like as a young kid when he was sickly. See how his life was before he met Paul Bragg.

  • @TheChampionInMe Is it all in his books or can I find it online somewhere?

  • @TheChampionInMe Yes, the genetics arguement is too often used by people who need an excuse not to take action! Get off your ass, living is precious!

  • I honestly DOUBT JL's longevity has anymore than MAYBE 20% to do with genetics.JL's longevity is due to his focus on nutrition & exercise, plain & simple.Fact is what JL considers "exercise" most people consider it torture.I mean walking is considered exercise now days? Pahhleeeezzz.Maybe walking up the side of a mountain.Pushing the body to new limits-safely & gradually is what the body was meant to do.The other factor is strict nutrition.

  • :) What is it like to be 94 and still be a thinking man? Advanced senility is sadly expected at Jack's age, but his energetic glow and personality flips that expectation on its head.

  • hmh im ninndy.. fo yers old AHH HOW YA DOIN'?! 8D

  • what a legend!!!!! god bless that man and god be with him , what a man!!!!

  • HE IS THE DAMN MAN!

  • I was like what? He sounds so old in the first 5 seconds then wow!

  • No, they need to pipe down, listen to a 94 year old guy and learn!

  • Badass

  • This man is a LEGEND

  • In fake voices:

    "ABSOLUTELY!!"

"That's right, it starts today........the other thing is...."

    "Yes. Symmetry" "Great advice"

    Please just let Jack speak!

  • Jack Lalanne says yes when many people say no. Some people would say you can't do much after 50 or 60, but Jack is 94 and is not quitting. As for the reporters, I don't mean any disrespect, but it seems like they are a bit phony. Just seems like that's how they're trained these days. Like someone said, Talk to Jack, stop interrupting him and making these silly phony comments every 2 seconds with their fake voices. Keep up the great work Jack!

  • lulz i love that he starts out like he's a crippled old man...and then BOOM he's talking like he's 40 :D This is why Jack was and always will be an idol to anyone in the fitness world.

It'll be a SAD day in the world when Jack dies :( But i guarantee you all it's gonna be from NOTHING but old age, because this man is healthier then 99% of people 30 years old!

  • Those two clowns need to shut up and let Jack talk.

  • My grandmother use to watch him every morning and exercised with him. I am soo glad to see he is still living. GOD Bless him.

  • telomeres

  • Jack may be a little stiff in the legs because he has had both knees replaced! A result of an early football accident, and then a terrible car wreck in the 1980s.

  • Why old people walking like stiff robots. Is there a exercise to avoid this. Jack Lalanne train whole his life but also he walking stiff.

  • cartilage everywhere in the body slowly deteriorates with age and impact

  • he's 94 AND walking at all... are you kidding?

  • There is a vid here on youtube from Lu Zijian (114 years old) when he was 93 years old and move like a cat.

  • is he the lost brother of chuck norris?

  • @traidorg He is Chuck Norris Father!

  • @traidorg He's the FATHER of chuck norris! lol

  • @traidorg Chuck Norris is the lost son of Jack.

  • @traidorg

    Yep, his older brother.

  • workout 3 times a day?????

holyshit and I thought i was a gym rat

  • Jack is more of a man than both of these two fugezzis combined. Down to earth and real. I hope I can be more like him.

  • Man, that was great at the beginning. Jack's a funny guy!

  • Jack LaLanne kicks ass and will live to be 100+

  • Jack Lalanne is a great man indeed! A++++

  • These guys seem to kinda mock Jack Lalanne.. Jack is an incredible human being and just shows if you take care of your body it will do its best to take care of youl

  • Jack La Lanne & his wife are totally awesome inspirations. They are incredible examples to all of us.

  • Jack's real challenge is to make to 98: His older brother made it to 97.

  • today is his 95th birthday!

  • JL is the original STUD!!! He's always been amazingly enthusiastic about his life's mission: to bring the discipline and appreciation of good fitness and exercise to the world. I'll bet he could still kick a lot of our butts at 95!

  • And in 10 days from now he will be celebrating his 95! birthday.

  • wow...i love him

  • Comment removed

  • Him, Joe Weider and Albert Beckels are the Holy Trinity of healthy "aging" ... if you can call what they do aging.

  • Albert follows the Bragg method of longevity: Claim you're older than you are. (Paul was 15yrs younger than claimed.) ...Albert was in his 1st major in '65. His birth, listed as 1938, (not '30), made him an old rookie of 27, (not 35). If he's still in great shape at 71, it wouldn't be much less amazing than 79, but I can't find any photos verifiable as recent. (I hope he is: He could single-handedly prove that steroids don't hurt longevity.) Jack's TWENTY-FOUR years older than Al.

  • Man, He's sharp! I love that guy!

  • He looks like George Bush Sr.

  • Talk about practicing what you preach. Being that fit in your 90s is proof to follow his teachings. The man never used steroids or put anything bad into his body, all natural.

  • He is such an inspiration, I just about died laughing when he said to get up off your FAT Arse and stop talking about the 'good' ol days. He talks about being in the now. He's the tolle of the boday.

  • Its not just that he's alive at 94. Some people live to be 94 but they are in wheelchairs and don't live normal lives anymore. Jack still exercises two hours a day and he is in outstanding health even for a 25 year old.

  • yeah i mean.. wow he looks like a 60-70 year old, which is quite amazing for his actual age, i dont think we'll see much people like jack in the future, this guy is a rediclous athlete in those days.
