People are saying "Artic Monkeys are better!"

People are saying "Milburn are better!"

The cold hard truth is that AM ARE better, the record sales don't lie. That doesn't mean people don't think Milburn are an amazingly good band. They are, let's be honest. They're a top notch band. I love Milburn, and I think they are better than AM. I am also sensible enough to realise, however, AM MUST be better, due to selling more records.

Just my opinion..

what people don't realise is that Milburn came before AM, people say Milburn copied AM, but because they're so blinded by their stupidity, they don't take the time to find out.

The reason they split up was because of people saying they're copying AM.

Record sales have nothing to do with it, Milburn are better, end of.

It's not that people are blinded... it's more like AM looks more like a typical corporate band, I'm not sayin' they are... bollocks, I love the Monkeys, but I'm just sayin' their appearance is quite poshy and posh sells.

I personally perfer Milburn but like Gazzybee said, they're both class bands.

@doggsnob1987 I know, its shit how people do that. I actually heard rumours that Milburn taught the Arctic monkey's alot of riffs when the arctic monkeys were starting out. I think you can see it with the opening to the arctic monkeys new song 'My propeller', it is very similar to milburn's opening to 'what will you do when the moneys gone'.

Milburn lads went to school with the Monkeys and the guys from Milburn said to the guys from the Monkey to get a band together and Milburn started getten the Arctic Monkeys gigs and what not !!! and it just so happens they hit the big time before Milburn thats how sun shine :D music education ! want to knopw anything just ask me :D
