  • Where is the full videos?

  • Can't wait till this guy tours with John Mayer

  • @MrDrewbies and guess what: I just read that he will go on tour with John Mayer! Spring tour 2012 and hopefully after that too. Can't wait to see him in Europe this summer!

  • Just met him today, the nicest guy =)

  • Great job! If anyone wants to learn how to play this song on guitar, check out my videos.

  • Nice job!

Just wanted to share with you a cool piano gadget recently featured in Gizmag

    Google “gizmag pianomaestro”

  • Thanks for posting this. The sheet music for Chuck Leavell's piano solo for "Jessica" can be found at manymidi.com/sheetmusic.htm - a note-for-note transcription.

  • This is really good...However this does need to be said...

    "Tonight, On Top Gear..."

  • Man, I *still* get off on Chuck's playing on the "Wipe The Windows..." live ABB album. Southbound, Come and Go Blues, Don't Want You No More...

I love his spread fingering, block chord thang-it reiminds me of Red Garland. Subtle and swinging.

  • Chuck, thank you for decade of wonderful piano solos and parts in so many classic songs that will endure forever. I am a guitar player and learned most of what I do from the Allman brothers of which you played a key role. Clapton is on this list too. I absolutely loved your piano parts for Old Love, WOW, and Layla, WOW again. You're the coolest man. jerry

  • Does anyone have the score sheet? I would love to learn to play this song

  • i live near him i met him

  • Django was most popular in the 30's and 40's not 20's :)

  • wow

  • One of the most knowledgable pianists of all time. Great flow and execution. Check out his band Sea Level.

  • Sea Level is one of the most under rated band of all time and this I say sadly, for it had a groove that kept me listening to it over and over.

  • I think you can still download Sea Level on itunes. I had The original and "Cats On The Coast " on vinyl, but all my vinyl got thrown out one day by mom when I did a bad thing as a teenager.

  • damn I wanna see the rest of that video:'(

  • Where is the rest of hte vdeo? it stops in the middle?

  • What are the notes to the "melody" for keyboard/piano. Thanks :)

  • I REALLY LIKE HIS STYLE

  • Brothers and Sisters- a Classic. Produced by Johnny Sandlin. Sandlin and Chuck Leavell both Alabama guys

  • wow i had know idea that this song was influenced by django

  • Chuck Leavell is one very interesting dude, not your typical rock musician. I heard him on Mariann McPartland's Piano Jazz show on public radio. They did an absolutely terrific version of Jessica as a piano duet, and he hit it off really well with her--she's in her 90s now.

  • Top Gear!

  • It's a beautiful video, thanks.

  • PLEASE does anyone has SEA LEVEL his band in mid/late 70.....That band is so good

  • His sister goes to my church.

  • Greatest Rock Pianist ever! This guy is the Eric Clapton of the piano, and much too under appreciated. Been a fan since I first heard Jessica and asked, "Who the hell is that playing the piano?!?"

  • Best pianist in rock history!

  • @paganpigdance , in the WORLD!!!

    this guy is THE MAN!!!!!!

mtv umplugged eric clapton "old love"!!!!!!

    just, the best ever!!!

  • @paganpigdance what about nicky hopkins

  • do yo have more to post?

    cool vid.........

  • If anyone runs across any Sea Level videos I would LOVE to see them. Greatly UNDERRATED group...

  • I just discovered sea level.....life changing stuff.

  • same here. Incredible band, there is a video on Chuck's official site. But i´d wish to see Rain In Spain

  • straight in my favourites, thank'ee :)

  • I effing love that man. Even those throw away licks that he plays to introduce the song - his playing is so damn lyrical, all the time.

  • Hey man, do you have the DVD? I also have it , have you noticed that on the back covers says that the notation can be found interactive on Chuck's webpage.

Well I have never found it, do you?

  • what dvd is it?
