This is a very good comparison! i have N82 and i saw that it makes very good pictures when i took my pc photo and fans that where spinning at ~2800rpm was stopped in the picture! no blur or anything, it looks like pc was off at the time i took the picture. Great Camera!!!

hey mikeeey1337.. the n82 silver and black dont have any difference besides in color and ram. im a nokia technician. and i have my nokia n82 black. nokia maid in finland and china dont have difference besides thier labor prize. all materials are all from finland and brought to china for cheap labor for the costumer can afford cheaper prizes of the cell phone. the durability is thesame. all are thesame. except from the employees labor. they pay cheaper for the laborers in china. thnx.

I noticed you have the black N82. I've read a couple reviews where the black N82 wasn't as well built as the silver. Apparently the silver is made in Finland, and according to one person the black one is the "cheap Chinese version"?

I've really wanted the black, but many people have confirmed the silver is very well built. so I may just go with the silver.

I love stuff like this. This is the kind of stuff I want to see first hand, not take someone's word for. I'm deciding between these two units. N82 has a better camera and won't have flex cable issues, but the N95 has USA 3g & has a larger screen which is better for the web.

Can anyone break this tie for me?

Well the N82 also has 3G. That is if you buy the silver unlocked version on amazon. It only costs $299.99, while the N95 is atleast $100 more expensive.

It's also said the N82's screen looks better, more crisp.

You are right. But the flash makes the difference between the performance of the two cameras, so I think it's reasonable to say that n82's camera's function is better than the n95's one.

there's a slight difference in image quality when taking pictures with both phones in daylight. The n82 takes slightly more vivid colors. I read about it and saw pictures of both on a review.. Dont remember the name.. Anyway both phones take VERY similar pictures in daylight but N82 takes them better.

@Drewcell I agree with you. The same f-ing camera. My room mate have the N82, i have the N95 8gb phone. The only difference is the xenon. In the same dark condition the n82 have a little more light (but not like in this video!! ) but too big RGB compression (like n73), the picture is much "oiled". The only better function is the SPEED shutter...but with one little disadvantage: "oiled" pic.

Anyway...as for me THE MOBILE CAMERAS ARE NOT FOR INDOOR pics. Useless to a night party.

hey 128 pillz i really like the end of your video, that was amazing with the n82 flash, but overall i am not so convinced about that "difference" between the n95 and the n82 cameras because even a semi-professional camera cant show a perfect picture with that speed because the n82 picture look like as if the ventilator was turned off.
