Ran into your videos by way of rickem and truely enjoy them.... I have lived in a van traveling for over 10 yrs out of my 47 and have met many beautiful people...my home state is ohio and am currently residing there, my faithfull van died recently W/ 280,930 miles and sadly I had to send her to the wrecker, I do have an old dodge van that we use for short trips... But I am looking for a diesel t3 westy if you know of one...Many Blessings...SMR

How do you affford to live this lifestyle?

@MrRakow23 I've been looking into this and I am going to live out of a van in the forests starting in November. I will go gold prospecting which should make me enough to pay my food and gas and maybe even have enough left over to put away for a rainy day. Camping in the forest is free as well.

31 dollars seems hardly "cheap" to me for one night of camping. This is when I start thinking staying in cheap motels under $45 makes more sense and just keeping a regular car. I imagine there is plenty of decent camp grounds under $15? I still dream about a little motor home type vehicle like a Vanagon, Bus, or Toyota. :) Love this.

Under $50 is very low a apt. would cost you more with no view there. Heck your knabors are probley Brad pit , Robert Deniro less than a block away. I am glad there are a lot of cheap skates on here the spot might be open when I go there!!

Beautiful spot buddy! My 20 is the high desert for now doing repairs to the truck camper and general maintinance. I replaced the sink in the bathroom and the water heater needed a new ignitor. After all it is breathtaking. But damn! I guess I am spoiled here with free open range style camping in Arkansas & $10 a night in Oklahoma.
