Both she and her husband are deaf. Probably is extremely quiet in their household; they could live on the noisest neighborhood. She says "Everybody needs a friend", well if everyone doesn't get a friend, then they have to manage. Just because she's deaf, doesn't mean she'll just step in a represent anyone she pleases.
