  • This arrangement of the Magic Flute has the peculiar distinction of having THE best Papageno & Papagena ever, and the entire rest dragging leagues beneath them in all respects, voice, appearance, costume work, everything.

  • Certified Intergalactic! The best performance of 'The Magic Flute' Finale!

  • Great Performance!!

  • i think it's HILARIOUS how her arms pop off! i watched multiple versions over this summer but i would have liked to see this one in its entirety.

  • Papageno look hot xD

  • Were the lions late at the end of the opera? xD

  • it looks like she got blown up.

  • Superbe !

  • Ok, this ending is just nonsense. What on Earth is the Queen of the Night (who, by the way, is suposed to die at the end of Sarastro last aria) singing something against her own way of thinking, next to the man she wanted to murder? Yeah, really logical. Thanks God I love Dessay's singing... lol

  • This is not the Queen of the Night who sings but it is Natalie Dessay.

I see it like this : The villains were just swept away, the opéra is finished and all the actors joins the final song which is used as an "ending credit".

It's just like the final greetings of the actors in theater after the end of the play.

  • Oui, ça peut-être, mais je préfère que la Reine sors de l'scène lol (Pardon mon français, je suis espagnole) Anyway, it's not that annoying. J'aime Dessay ^^

  • Queen of the night is brilliant in this one, but choir's wear don't fit this opera at all.

  • WOW! It has been a while that the O zittre nicht video of Dessay has been on, but this is new, and a pleasure to see! How fantastic! The French have such good taste!
