getting unlimited internet access for a cell/smartphone, unless you are a business is just silly to me. esp when prices are so high. wait till you get home to check out youtube or myspace. i do however enjoy my slingbox, but i dont use it with my pda

NICE advertise even more usage for streaming on verizon wireless.. Everyones doing it. Even after the "revised" TOS where they say 5gb limit and after the 1 million suit they paid out for misleading TOS. Now to make up for it they raised the $39.99 "unlimited" to $44.99.. So in the end we are all paying Verizon back.

wtf verizon doesnt cap you if your on the high speed new data plan at 79$ a month and if you already have verizon service then its $59 call tx verizon store #196 ask for your self i work there

I love my Q, i have the black rubberized one from Bell Mobility (Canada) and it's damn slick. Gotta love playing NES SNES DivX and using high speed net, email, etc etc :D :D

Dude...be very carefull. Verizon HATES SlingBox and is cracking down on bandwidth cows and will and has kicked people off of the network for it.

this is very true. vzw caps u at 80 gigs in a month. if u exceed this they terminate your contract. i sell vzw. starcomm 6700 is the only vzw phone that has wifi. i'd recommend it. larger screen as well. vzw even caps the data usage on their aircards (again making slingbox limited).

These functions aren't functions of the Q but rather the Singbox. Slingbox will work with any number of DVRs, cable, satellite recievers, DVD players or any other kind of video device.

They don't charge fees. $199 for the box and as long as you have high speed internet at home and a high speed data plan for the phone, you're good to go.

Can you map tivo controls (fast forward, 5 sec. replay, etc.) to other buttons on the Q? Three menus deep for FF & play is a little clunky.
